Had lunch here today and it was fabulous! They were very busy, but they handled everything perfectly. The building itself is... very historic and beautiful. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious! If you're local, you probably knowthese things. If you're just visiting like us, Go!! You won't regret it. First time visitors for lunch during a brief visit to New Bern. Friendly staff seated us quickly, and order was taken quickly... as well. Great honey-drizzled croissants provided! Our burgers were cooked to perfection. My black and blue burger was LOADEDwith the best blue cheese crumbles ever, and was extraordinary! My wife's sweet potato fries came with a dipping sauce to diefor. We will certainly be back when we visit New Bern in the future!! Read more
This place is excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and rustic, but still very clean. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food... and drink, phenomenal. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. The food and the services was fantastic! I had the fried shrimp and fries and I... have to say it was the best I have ever had. The shrimp was so sweet and fresh. The croissants, which were drizzled with honeywere to die for! Hats off to our server, Cat. She took great care of us! So delicious!! You start out with the warm honey-glazed croissants, which just get your mouth watering at the sight. We had the... 3 cheese Buffalo fries as an appetizer. Lunch was the ?big quesadilla? salad and the Big Shrimp sub. Food was awesome,environment was homey and unique. Had a nice outdoor sitting area as well but we stayed indoors at a high top in the bar area.Very friendly and attentive staff as well. Definitely a new favorite in New Bern! Read more
