Poor experience from the start. It seemed like we interrupted our server's evening and she rushed us from the start. Asked us... how we were doing, didn't give us time to answer. Asked us what we wanted to order and was already walking away from the tablebefore we were finished. I even ordered a margarita and it came with lipstick still on the rim. Waste of time and money. We stopped here because we heard from friends that they have very good food. We have found our new favorite Mexican food... restaurant. Our meals were excellent. Great flavors, fast friendly service, ample serving sizes and a clean comfortable diningarea. Very reasonable prices Read more

Always consistently good. Several Mexican restaurants offer a Vegetarian option but this place offers vegetarian offers under... specific entrees. The vegetarian burrito is so good. That is my go too order . This is my new favorite in New Bern. Enough fortwo meals! So good! Read more
Went to MI Cabana with my friends and rhe service was quick and amicable. Our waiter was Jesus aka Chuy and he was very... attentive, never had to ask for refills, napkins, or to go boxes because he was one step ahead. The experience was so enjoyablethat I have been there for family functions or lunch with co-workers and always ask to be seated in Chuys area. The food isdelicious and servings that ate big enough to feed 2 people. Real authentic Mexican food with a great staff. Read more
Came in with a group of 12, but they accommodated us quickly and without complications. There was another larger group that... came in not long after we did, which seemed to be be overwhelming for our server, and the kitchen. Otherwise, very goodexperience. The atmosphere is very colorful and relaxing. The staff is quite friendly and the menu is varied, offering something for... everyone. I ordered a combo plate and the food (rice, refried beans, a soft taco and a beef burrito) was hot and delicious.Loved the red sauce (tasty and not too spicy).The prices were reasonable.
