1st time here. Attendant was nice and very appreciative of everyone within sight. So many choices. The Apple Pecan Cake was... delicious and well balanced. The Death by Chocolate was right on. Coffee is available, but the lack of decaf unless you're inthe restaurant was slightly disappointing. Having it available may have enticed us to eat in... possibly leading to us giving into some of the cookies as well. ($$$) Something to think about, but won't hold it against them. Great local restaurant serving Greek and Italian food. Excellent Wait staff. Slavaki dish is excellent, sort of like fajita with... pita bread instead of a tortilla. Great bread!! Pastries were good and reasonable priced. Update: We went a few weeks ago and left after sitting for 25 minutes... waiting to order. Waitress couldn't care less. Went to the bakery side, wad picking some pastries, told the lady there of theissues, she gave us our pastries for free. Asked us to try again and apogized. Update #2: Just left, ordered 3 apps and 4 mains.The onion rings were overcooked but OK, the spanikopita was all spinach and almost no feta, overcooked. The fries, we got thebig basket to share ($9.00), they were barely warm and tasted and had the texture of sitting on the counter for hours, reallysad. They took them off the bill. Ordered Mac and cheese for a kid, seemed like it was probably out of a box like Kraft but lesstaste. A BLT Sub, literally 3 slivers of tomato. Baked Ziti was AWESOME! The garlic bread was missing any garlic but the breadwas amazing! Also had Stuffed Shells and it was good too. 2 out of 7 items I would return for but won't. I do NOT RECOMMEND THERESTAURANT. Now, the bakery is another story. Possibly the best and biggest selection on Onslow County!! No joke EVERYTHING ISGREAT AND DONE RIGHT!. If there were 10 stars we would have happily given them all. The ?Famous? title is VERY appropriate. We started with a house... small 10? pizza as appetizer that was loaded with fresh toppings, then 2 Gyro platters + 1 lasagna dish for our 4-y.o.Everything including Gyro platter?s grilled onions, cucumbers, & lettuce & tomatoes were super fresh, same for sour cream, thusTASTY in every respect. Prices for all entrees worth it! Portion sizes were large & we needed take out boxes for 1/2 -3/4 ofeach entree & we had HUGE appetites (after spending 3-4 hrs. touring New Berm & River fishing pier) upon being promptly (<60-secs) seated. Our Hostess & Server Dallas was very pleasant, cordial & friendly with her warm smile. Wish we knew they offervanilla shakes, maybe other flavors & the bakery stayed open later than 8:00 pm otherwise we would have taken several goodieshome with us. Enter experience made us wish we had something comparable to where we live in the Wilmington, NC area. When wereturn to New Bern we?ll be sure to dine again but surely try several bakery items. The food was ok in the restaurant. But where they shine is the Bakery. They have cake slices, cheesecake, cookies, pastry,... full cakes & more. Every Friday they make a Giant/Jumbo cake (call them Friday to find out what flavor they have made). Theyonly make 1 cake on Friday and sell it until gone or they pull it on Sunday (but good flavors will sell out fast). And for thesize, I think it was $6.50, but they're like 2 slices worth. I used Famous for my wedding cake and they were awesome to work with! Due to COVID, they did the cake tasting as a send-home... cake. My (then) Fiancé get to choose 5 different icing and cake flavors and then they sent us a package with 5 good-sized minicakes to try! It was awesome! We got to try our cake from our couch and had plenty left over to enjoy for a couple of days. Letme tell y'all, the cakes were AMAZING!!! For us it was a toss-up between strawberry cake with fresh strawberry filling andvanilla buttercream icing and lemon cake with lemon curd filling and vanilla buttercream icing....it was so hard to decide!! Wecould've done both, but went with the strawberry since our wedding was in April during prime strawberry season!! They were easyto work with as far as design, size, and service! And our cake turned out GORGEOUS!! Not to mention, the cake stand theyprovided was PERFECT!! 10/10 would recommend them for any bakery needs!!!! Read more

Great food and great service. Antipasto salad, Greek salad and pizza were all fabulous. The salads were large. We split them... each between two different people. Pizza crust was really good. Perfect amount of toppings. Our server was lovely. We didn?thave to ask for anything. Read more
