This is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in New Bern! Good food and great prices.
After many visits, this is my first time getting a stomach bug here and finding trash in my food. 10/15 I ordered around 2 pm... finished my food around 230pm and was already feeling weird by 3, we didint have breakfast that morning. Tried my best to ignorethe feeling but by 6pm my wife and I who had the same plate x2 were both on and off the toilet and haven't ate anything sincethat. Also i found what looks like ceramic in my food. Multiple pieces, resembles pieces of white bone, Which wouldn't makesense because I ordered steak. That ended my meal when I found that and that's the second Mexican restaurant in the great stateof NC to get us sick. Read more
They have the best salsa which is my favorite thing to have at Mexican restaurants. Just the right amount of heat. Sometimes I... go get a pint of salsa to go. It's actually cheaper than buying it from the grocery store and tastes much better. Hannah is myfavorite waitress there. She's a hard worker and does a great job every time. Read more
(08/2022) Good food, good service and beautiful restaurant. Very tight seating but plenty available. Small bar section and... outdoor patio with lots of seating. Decorated very well and beautiful, sure makes it enjoyable dine in. Food can be a hit andmiss but when on point it is delicious. Read more

We have always had wonderful service here at this extraordinary and very popular restaurant. The wait staff are generally... pleasant, and are quick to greet. You know they're busy or short staffed if you're waiting more than 5 minutes for your serverto come to the table. Read more
The only good thing about our experience was the free chips and salsa. Waitress (Paula?) was extremely unfriendly and never once... checked on us after our food arrived. Ground beef was greasy and over salted, and our fried icecream was stale, melted, andcovered in corn flakes. This about sums up our experience. Read more
The waitress we had needs to relax and calm down and listen to the customer. She brought the wrong drinks. We had to ask for... utensils to eat. Did not offer water. The plates were warm but the food was cold. Go figure. Read more
