I expected a lot more of this place. From locals to the radio there was lot of hype about the food here. Unfortunately, being... the foodie I am, I was pretty disappointed. I got the picadinho which was very overcooked meat just swimming in a gravy likesauce, lacked flavor big time. I also got the scallops that came very white, no sear color at all but at least seasoned. Read more
Fun experience with great service. The food was good. Not a over emphasized great bite. Just a solid good all around bite. I... would definetly come back for drinks and apps but in my opinion the menu is just too big to really narrow done mychoice. Visited last night for apps and a drink. First I want to say thank you to Top Shelf for being the only place to make sure us... old people don't need our reading glasses to see the menu ???? The nachos with added chicken were delicious! Mixed drinks weregreat ! If you love your sport the atmosphere was great ! We got our dinner to go. Got home and realized our order was wrong. Wedon't have allergies so we didn't ask to have anything changed we just ate it. Food was very good. That's the only reason forthe four stars instead of five. Chicken... tenders had some unknown sauce on the bottom of them, might have been barbecue sauce. The waitress disappeared for a good 25minutes when we were trying to pay our bill. Top shelf was one of my favorite places to dine in New Bedford but They have reallyfallen off since reopening after Covid. Read more
