Just a little bit of the Orange Chicken I bought. New home means going to new places and I'll go back again. It's the best I've... had so far. It was loaded with big pieces of white chicken and the broccoli Was cooked like Chinese vegetables are cooked (verylittle). Was a little spicy but definitely not inedible. If you don't like I too spicy I would tell them when ordering but Ithink most people would find it ok. Definitely a go to for me Read more

My 1st time ordering take out from Hong Kong Restaurant in a really long time. Like maybe in years. I was once again very... satisfied with my meal. It was very nice to know that in the years that I haven't eaten here it hasn't changed at all. Not tomention that the women who work there are very nice. Read more

Gong Kong has always been our go to Chinese restaurant. It?s really really good . One thing they are missing is chicken teriyaki... sticks. That issue has forced us to go by somewhere else. Read more

I am an ex-head chef of 2 New Bedford restaurants with over 12 years experience. Tonight we ordered take out and it wasn't the... best experience. I ordered the Beef Teriyaki plate with fried rice and crab ragoons. The Beef Teriyaki was horrible. I hate toleave a negative review but I have to share my experience. I took my first bite of the Beef Teriyaki, and I knew somethingwasn't right. So I took another bite because I don't want to be disappointed with my loving cites restaurants. I smelled theTeriyaki and it smelled like old hamburger that's going brown and sweet Teriyaki. I needed a second opinion before I threw itaway, because I hate wasting food and I know there are people starving. My Girlfriend took a bite and yes, it was confirmed thatit's no good. I threw away the beef. My girlfriend and her daughter got the general taos chicken and it tasted very good. Thefried rice was okay. Crab ragoons were okay but too much onion and garlic flavor. Almost like a garlic cream cheese ragoon. Theegg rolls were good too just a lil salty. Hopefully they will throw away bad meat in the future to avoid losing a customer. Iunderstand food is expensive but my health and your health is much more important. Jeopardizing someones health is not worth the$7 of meat you would've lost out on if you used fresh meat. Hopefully they pay more attention and know they are better thanthat. Best of luck and cheers ????. Read more

LUNCH TIME I'm not really much a complainer...when comes to food.. this is literally my first complaint EVER to be posted... publicly... Not really impressed with this Chinese food. I thought i was getting really simple Chinese Chow Mein (Mainingredient - Noodles) . You know, the basics. I asked for a simple dish of chicken chow mein, and what i got was fried wontonstrips doused in brown sauce to soften it to make it look like noodles (See pics attached). How i found out, was i got to thebottom of the pile and the sauce didn't make it all the way down, and it was still crispy at the bottom. Fried rice was not goodeither. Sorry Chef, not good. So Please, if this is what they do to a simple chow mein. Think twice about how they prepareother foods before you order. I don't recommend this place at all. If they had an option to rate a half star, that's what iwould give them. Read more
