It was not too busy on Monday, late breakfast, too early for lunch. Chicken fried steak, white gravy, two eggs over easy,... cheesey hash brown, two pancakes. I added pepper before taking pictures. We stopped there on the way home from a family vacation to Holiday World. Not wanting a chain restaurant or another pizza, we... found this "mom and pop" gem. The "all-you-can-eat" fried chicken was served family style with green beans, corn, coleslaw,chicken and dumplings and mashed potatoes and gravy. The food was really good and the service (Haley) was the best. She's sucha happy person you cannot help but smile. The prices are very reasonable and it's definitely a great place to go. Visited on a Sunday afternoon and had the Special fried chicken served family style... The food was Very Good and the sevice was... Very Good... We really liked the chicken and dumplings which also come with the Special...They did run out of rolls about3:00... We did get a couple... Probably would have had a couple more... Love this place. Plenty of food for a reasonable price, and plenty of it. I had fried chicken salad and husband had BLT wrap.
Mediocre food. Not bad by any means, but fried chicken was just salty with little other spices. Breakfast food was good, but... lacked much variety outside of typical diner food. Excellent value though, absolute ton of food for the price. While I won'tseek it out again, it's worth a visit at least once to check it out yourself. Read more
I love this place. The atmosphere is great and Sundays and Wednesdays they have all you can eat fried chicken and sides of... mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, chicken and dumplings, corn for $10.99 per person. Their food is very good, made fromscratch, and just reminds me of dinners my grandma used to make. Famous for fried chicken but the 2 pieces I got today were both well undercooked. I didn't eat much. Maybe I won't get very... sick. Delicious looking roll ? also undercooked. Cole slaw was ok. Mashed potatoes and gravy were good. Coke was good. Very goodserver. Only $10.00 for my meal. Wasn't worth it. Last 2 times I've been here were disappointing.
