Sugaree's bakery is a national treasure. I pay obscene amounts of money to ship their cakes to me out of state because they are... the best cakes I've ever had. We were visiting family in Ripley but my son and I stayed in New Albany. (The house that we were supposed to stay in was messing... with my asthma) we needed to find something to do before go picking up my mother in Ripley. So we went to downtown New Albanyand this Bakery caught my eye. We enjoyed the customer service and suggestions that we were given. We had also talked about howeating cake Frozen was the best. I'm not sure if they heard me shriek in enjoyment when I'd seen the cheesecake. My son and Ibought a couple slices of cake, I bought an additional brownie for myself and my mom enjoyed the Tarts that I bought for her. I took a risk ordering a red velvet cake from an online bakery. I'm glad I did. This is the BEST red velvet I've ever had. ? it... arrived frozen with dry ice. We left it I'm the fridge overnight to thaw, and then on the counter to bring it to roomtemperature. It was delicious, moist and tastes like old fashioned red velvet cake. The bakery was awesome. I walked in and the aroma from the flavors were filling my stomach. The cashier was so nice. It was so... many varieties of cakes and cookies that I felt like a little kid trying to make the best choice. Will order on line. My cookieswere fresh and the cakes melted on my mouth. Read more
