I?ve been going to this place since it opened and have always liked the food and service but not lately!! Went today and my food... was barely warm on a cold plate, the crunchy taco beef meat was bland and they put a little lettuce and cheese on it like anafterthought. Also brought out a packet of taco sauce on my plate?guess I was supposed to use it to season the taco meat???Taco Bell is way above what I was served today and costs less too. My daughter?s chicken was cold, my beans were lukewarm atbest. Overall better go to Taco Bueno next time! And there was no service this time!! We had to wait and ask for everything! We had a an outdoor birthday party here and it was ok. My dish selection, I felt was a but thrown together. Just didn't get that... celebration vibe. Food quality did not match the food price. Read more

Friendly and prompt service. Had nachos with beef and lettuce, and the cheese was delicious - I'm sensitive to dairy but this... cheese did not particularly bother me. I'm told they use authentic Mexican cheese. Had a non-alcoholic Pina colada which wasquite refreshing. The chips were thin, crispy and hearty - tried with guacamole which was brought to the table in a pestle,suggesting it was freshly mixed. Read more
Very fast service! Didn't even get 1 bowl of salsa gone before our food arrived! Very good sized portions for the price.... Everything was delicious! We will definitely stop again if we are ever in the area. Read more
After working in South and Southeast Texas, I'm ruined for good Tex-Mex. Most places you find are about as "authentic" as... WalMart margarita mix. El Agave had very knowledgeable staff who gave good recommendations. And the food was the best I've hadsince leaving Texas. Spring for the top shelf fajitas, you won't regret it! Read more
