The hidden gem of Netcong! Don?t drive too fast or you?ll miss it. As a Netcong native, I can honestly say that I?ve never had a... bad meal here. The steak arugula sandwich was Fire! The staff and bartenders are all super friendly. The beers on tap alwayschange. Worst thing about Polos is when their Oktoberfest menu ends. I would love to give this place 5 stars because it's clean and the atmosphere is nice, but the bartenders are rude and nasty.... My husband and I sat at the bar on Friday night (October) freezing. The air-conditioning was blasting and everyone at the barwas complaining. We finally ordered apps after trying to get the attention of the happy hour bartender at the computer. Thewomen next to me was waiting to order happy hour wings and the bar keep didn't come to her for over 10 min. There were maybe10-12 people at the bar. When she finally said, "Excuse me" to the bar tender, she snapped back saying she was doing something.The waitress that brought us our food from the kitchen was very nice. We ordered fried pickles and fried Buffalo chicken tenderswhich were AWESOME. Food was great. Everything that came out of the kitchen looked delicious. It is a shame that the 2 bartender women have such a chip on their shoulders. No small talk with customers. They act very overwhelmed with not even a fullbar at happy hour. Amazing food. We had the cheese curds with spicy ketchup and another house made sauce. Followed that up with hanger steak medium... rare, fries and summer veggies. Delicious food. My wife had the broccoli rabe and sausage flatbread and said it was very good.We will definitely be back again! Great beer selection as well and friendly staff. Read more

Today is my birthday and Rosie herself went out of her way to make her AMAZING lasagna for me. That just speaks volumes of the... type of person she is, I can't thank you enough. Her food is amazing!!!! The service is fantastic!!! Can't say enough greatthings about her restaurant!!! Read more
This is one of those places that make you come back constantly just to try every single thing on the menu because everything you... order is just THAT GOOD. We moved to the area a year ago and struggled with not having easy access to Bergen county restaurants.We?ve been back 12 times since we discovered it a few months ago. Ordered the Texas Burger and it was fantastic! Cooked exactly as I asked, stacked so high that two hands were needed to hold on... to that bad boy! Fries were fried just right: golden and crisp, not soggy. Onion rings were thick and crispy, but not burned.You can tell the cook really knows their grill. The place has a great atmosphere.
