I?m not one to leave overtly negative reviews but this most recent experience was disgusting. My family lives in Nesconset and... this used to be my go to place but there are so many better bagel places in the area now, save your time. The bacon they put inmy sandwich was so burnt it ruined every thing I ate for that meal. My eggs were perfectly fine so I can?t discredit that (onlyreason they don?t get 1 star). The bagel was soaked in grease and the bacon was darker than a tire. I didn?t asked for blackburnt bacon. I had to give it to my dog and I felt bad at first doing that. The coffee they gave us for free, I wouldn?t give itto a homeless person. It was so burnt and so old it tasted like I was drinking plastic mixed with coffee. I think they brew thecoffee the day before and store it in garbage plastic containers and then sell it the next day. The coffee was actuallyappalling. I didn?t know you could make coffee that bad. I'm a displaced Long Islander living in a place where the 'bagels' are basically small hard donuts - no thanks! What a treat to... have an amazing bagel for the first time in a few years. I had my usual order from years ago - onion bagel with scallion creamcheese - delicious, yummy, and super-tasty! Really good coffee too! My husband grew up in the area and this is by far the best bagel spot around. The classic sesame or everything ???? never... disappoint as a bacon, egg, cheese sandwich or plain w/cream cheese. Also, highly recommend their drip coffee. It?s the perfectbalance of full bodied but not acidic. Edited to add: The staff is so kind and treats you like family. I recently stopped infor a bacon, egg, & cheese and was reminded of just how good their thick cut bacon is - simply delicious. Read more

A nice place to get bagels. They were conscious of customer safety for Covid. Only 5 people in the store at a time. Social... distance in and out. The bagels were hot and fresh, crispy. I ordered my usual everything with butter. Thr bagel wasdelicious however, a bit on the lopsided, uneven in shape. It still tasted great though! Read more
Their motto is that they treat you like family? They should change it to they treat you like you?re forgotten. First time here... and it was absolutely horrible. I came in this morning and it was very busy. After a fifteen minute wait I ordered an eggsandwich, a mini bagel and an iced coffee. While waiting, I am starting see others who were behind me get their food. I see thegirl who took my order putting coffee in a hot cup. When tell her I asked for iced coffee she proceeds to give me an attitudesaying ?YEAH I KNOW? but five seconds later asked me if I wanted iced coffee. Then she manages to lose my order for another fiveminutes. She was awful, not worth the wait or money. Iced coffee tasted like garbage. Read more
