Credit to the server and to the lady who came to our table to check on us . I?m not sure if she was the manager or the owner but... when I told her the salad was not fresh, she gave us $5 discount. Overall, the food and experience were not good at all! Theybrought us old salad and vegetables! You can tell right away by just looking at them! The chicken skewers as appetizers are very good, good flavor and the presentation is awesome. The steak tacos not so good,... portion is very small like for an appetizer, is not enough for a man and for the price it should be 3 huge tacos with real steaknot beef stew. Flavor wise... average, there are better tacos everywhere. Very nice place, beautiful ambiance. The life bandsare a blast on weekends. All staff is polite and nice. My wife grew up here and we come back to visit, we always hit The Local. We happened to come here for lunch on a day when they... were slammed with large family groups (graduation). The staff and the service was fantastic. We split a Ceaser salad and TheHendrick burger with sweet potato fries. Both were good. The food was so yummy and we had a great time! Even though the server mentioned they were low staffed, the environment was still... great and food was delicious! The kitchen and waiting staff were also very accommodating to a member of our party who has a lifethreatening allergy to diary. They took great care of us! Will be coming back! Read more
Lots of options and a great variety of food , The Local did not disappoint this foodie. We had a rather large party and with a... call ahead they totally accommodated us. Service was great, food was tasty. Only glitch was the Get Rooted salad bowl that hadroasted veggies but crunchy beets on it ?. Not what the diner was expecting but good overall. Great atmosphere, friendly service, super good food! Came in for brunch on a Saturday. First time here. Nice spot, great... feel. Food is very good, portions are solid.
