Hard to give this 1 star. 8/4/2022 @ 5:52 pm. Was told my order (1- 8 piece nuggets would be 5 mins. After 20 mins I asked to... speak with a manager. The lady at the register stated it would be 2 more minutes. She did not get a manager. After 4 moreminutes, another lady came around giving instructions. I askes several times, excuse me... are you the manager. She replied,yes, I am one of them. Then with her next breath she said, we're trying to get you these nuggets. There was only one othercustomer in the store and no one in drive thru. She never stopped to address me. After this she proceeded to the back. 3 minuteslater my nuggets came and the lady at the register gave me my order, the manager lady shouted from the back, "sorry about that,there was something else in the stove that had to finish first. 1 star because Popyeyes food never disappoints even though thisservice was horrible and completely unacceptable. Don't go to this location go to the one in Arlington. This spot serves 3 hour old dry, nasty chicken and won't call anyone back... that complains about it. And they're nasty if you say anything. I'd say close this location, but it seems like your employeesare helping make that happen. Old sides, old chicken sold. Disgusting. Read more
What can you say..but "love that chicken from Popeyes!" Very good...only problem is for the price, which was about $9.99 each... for the 2 adult meal, our mashed potatoes sides were not full. It tasted good..just seemed like very small portions compared tothe bowl size. It literally looked about 3 to 4 spoon fulls. People were nice though so we didn't say anything. Place lookedcleaned. We ordered the family sandwich feast and one of the top buns was burnt to a crisp but the sandwich was cold. I can't believe... anybody would serve something like this! Not a good way to do business at the beach. We are locals and will not be back! Read more
This place was incredibly busy when I visited. I don't know if they were understaffed or if it was just unusually busy. I waited... nearly 40 minutes for a few chicken sandwiches, which were just "okay" IMO. I decided to leave this review because even thoughit was busy and the chicken sandwich was mediocre at best, Elliot the cashier was exceptional. He took orders as well as putorders together in a stressful and understaffed environment, all while smiling and providing great customer service. The poorguy was a one-man team. If anyone in Popeye's management is reading this, this man deserves a promotion and raise. This wouldhave been a 1-star review if it wasn't for Elliot's friendliness and professionalism. Read more
Popeyes chicken sandwich was in stock again today and the Popeyes workers in Neptune beach did an amazing job!! The drive thru... line wrapped around the building and across the parking lot into another stores lot, so we decided to go inside and wait inline, the line was long but that was to be expected...these workers kept the chicken sandwiches fully stocked!! The people inline tried giving the manager a hard time but what can you expect when the line is long and the drive thru like is 10xs what itnormally is! People need to have patience because these workers were GREAT!! I can?t complain for the wait time, we all saw thedrive thru and we knew what today was before we went to Popeyes! The fried chicken is very hard (tooth breaker), probably from being under the warmer too long. No flavor and greasy with a taste... of old oil. The much anticipated spicy sandwich was very disappointing. Bland, smothered in spicy mayonnaise that wasn't andvery dry. The coleslaw and biscuit (no butter available) were not the best. The service took 15 minutes for indoor dining. Wewill not be going back. Read more
