I finally found my new "go to" place, we indulged 2 of the most traditional pizzas in Ottawa, and without second thinking, I can... say that Collonade mastered the art of Pizza. I started going there a month ago the pizza was different every time tonight is going to be last time. Absolutely the best dining experience I?ve ever had. Mouth watering pizza , house wine , and freshly made sweets. The staff... there is super friendly especially the guy Ahmad. He?s sooooooo hot and has an insane Fashion sense. The place is meticulouslyclean. The bathrooms are sparkling you can see your own reflection on the tile. I didn't have any experience with the staff as I want the one who ordered the food. This is why I didn't give 1 star. As for... the food: 3 words sum it up: Gross, cheap, careless. It was obvious ever meal(a poutine & 2 sub sandwiches) was prepared asfast as cheaply as possible. One rule that a take out place must never break is: Use cheese curds on your poutine! They brokethis rule and of course the shredded cheese was melted to the point of soup with the gravy.. Covering fries that tasted likethey were the overcooked fries that feel out the basket soaking up grease and burnt to a crisp all at the same time(how do youeven do that) This rule is a yes or no for me for any restaurant. As for the subs, none of the details are followed like notomatoes,etc. And from the reaction from my friends who ate ¼ of it before throwing it out was enough for me to feelcomfortable reviewing them even though I didn't try them. We will never order from Colonnade pizza again. This is the best pizza I?ve had in Ottawa!!! It?s so good, I?ve caught myself regularly dreaming about Colonnade pizza food... throughout the week. The salads, appetizers and pizza left a long-lasting, great impression on me. This place is perfect forfamilial or casual dining and it?s perfect for takeout as well. The customer service is impeccable; they?re all so attentive totheir customers? needs, so kind, friendly and genuine. I had the best time eating here last Sunday. The service was amazing especially Robyn who always made sure we were satisfied... with everything and is overall so kind. The green salad with feta, the calamari, and zucchini fries were all delicious but themeat lovers pizza definitely was the star of the show. Unlike many other places, they put A LOT of toppings and the pizza is notdripping in oil. Lastly, the chocolate cake was to die for. I would even order the whole cake for events. As a bonus, the wholerestaurant is extremely clean. Would definitely recommend it and will definitely be going back regularly. Read more

Where can I start? This restaurant exceeded my expectations by a mile. The restaurant and its restrooms were the cleanest I have... ever seen. The service we received from Robbyn was unmatched. Not only was she so knowledgeable, but she truly cared and shemade our Sunday evening dinner truly enjoyable. Best of all however was the food.
