From the welcoming vibe when you entered this retro diner, we were made to feel special with the smiles and great service of our... two young servers. Our breakfast/brunch was wonderful! The Denver sandwich was generous with its eggs and cheese, and toppedwith crispy green lettuce and tomato. YUMMY! And before we left, we spotted a new dessert being put into the display case. When we asked what this attractive and mouth-watering looking dessert was, we were told BlackBerry Lavender Torte!... and we hadto share a slice! So glad we did!!! Thank you to the staff for starting off our day in such a wonderful way!!! Read more

Stopped in for breakfast onWednesday on our way to Osoyoos after staying in Nelson. We found it quite by accident as we drove... out to find our highway and realized we were going in tge wring direction! Tge diner is red white and black with great touchesof old LP's, bottles, and antiques! Lively. The restaurant is clean and the food was amazing. Great basted eggs cooked asrequested and lively bacon, shredded hash rows with multigrain toast. Hubby chose the Heavy Wait with all the fixings! Greatbreakfast. Coffee was plentiful and good! Conversation with an older gentleman in a black cowboy hat was lovely. Thanks for alovely morning! It was reasonably priced as well! $33.27 including taxes! Read more

Quaint little diner in the heart of Nelson. Great breakfasts for a stellar price point. I had the corned beef hash, it was... grilled to perfection and very tasty. Left feeling full.... a rarity with restaurants these days it seems. Read more

Great service! A group of 7 of us came in while they were very very busy and they still went above and beyond to accomodate us... and get us a spot! The breakfast portions are big and the shredded potatoes with garlic are the absolute best! Read more

Great little restaurant! For people that love old school, simple, fresh and honest food. The decor is very retro 50s-70s diner... vibes, old glass bottles on shelves, checkerboard painted walls, vinyl records and various local artwork. If that's not yourthing then don't judge a book by its cover either. The menu is fairly simple, breakfast in all its forms, a variety ofsandwichs, burgers, hot dogs, sides, and rotating soup daily. Everything is obviously cooked to order and made with fresh inhouse ingredients. You can just tell, and its delicious! Nothing fancy, nothing finicky or overtop, just simplicity at itsbest. Definitely highly recommended! If I lived in the area I would go all the time. The only small downside is there is no ACinside, so it can get a little warm. Read more

Waits knows what they are doing and the staff is always super friendly. They have consistently delicious breakfast that is... always on point. The toast comes perfect with melted butter, and they have 3 kinds of gluten free toast including cinnamonraisin! The bacon is crispy but not burnt, never floppy and sad. They also have some fine milkshakes to bring all the boys tothe yard. Their pancakes are also amazing, including their gf ones! Read more
