We have stopped to get some dinner and notice this donair. It was a nice and very clean place when we came in. They make... everything fresh and cook everything to order so we didn?t mind waiting. I got a chicken and lamb donair. We also got thedunkers which is basically beef nuggets but with a lot of flavour with the donair sauce. Never saw these dunkers in Winnipegbefore so it?s a must try. My girlfriend got a lamb rice platter with all the cheeses and sauces she can choose. The portionwas relatively large and we were so full. This was our first meal at a Prairie Donair and we were blown away! The service was enthusiastic and fast with an eye toward... accuracy. The food was delicious (I had a Greek Salad with lamb added and a piece of baklava) and the place was impeccably cleanand neat. Though there were others ahead of us and we had a big order, we didn't have to wait long. If we weren't leaving Canadatomorrow, this would be my new go-to eatery! Read more
We had a small get together at our place couple of days ago and had catered food from Prairie Donair. Everyone was happy with... its quality and quantity. However, it was large order and From the time we picked it up and got home, we had to warm the foodagain by the time everyone was ready to eat. The wait was was long but seemed like new staff and a new business. They are really friendly and doing their best. The food was... amazing !! I absolutely loved the Greek gyros. We bought 4 large and one medium and 5 drinks and it was just over $98. I willdefinitely go back but as a larger family it would be expensive for us. Its definitely a must try. Read more
Just came in with a group of 6 people. They nailed our orders with fantastic timing, and the service was very friendly. Most... importantly, the food was absolutely tremendous! So so good! Delicious! In eating this scrumptious food, we were reminded of thesaying ?taste and see that the Lord is good? (Psalm 34:8). Great job Prairie Donair! Read more
