Reviews for Wagon Wheel Restaurant in Needles, CA
Awesome experience as a solo diner.... Friendly staff (thanks for looking after me Lori), amazing comfort food, and no rush to... get me to leave. Pot roast was great with homemade mashed potatoes & gravy, plus green beans. The cheddar biscuit didn't needany butter and wasn't sweet at all. The peach pie was warmed perfectly with a flaky crust, firm peaches, and a not too sweetfilling... I don't need ice cream with pie, but you can get it if you really want it (not necessary). Oh... And there was wine????, if you're like me and don't like beer ????. Will be back to try other dishes for sure! Read more
Stop here for a meal if you traveling the I-40. One of the old Route 66 buildings with an old west flair. Food is great and... staff is friendly. Prices are inexpensive. They still serve open-face sandwiches like the old days. You can get cheap gasolineand diesel in Arizona, but this place is worth a food stop. Read more
Waited for waitress entirely to long, made eye contact with several as I set at the bar. Order 12 Oz steak medium well it was... rare on the thick piece of steak and well on the then side. I was told they hand cut there steaks there. Definitely wasn't cutright. Potatoes mashed with gravy was average, grean beans taste like frozen little flavor. Biscuit and butter good, sweattea perfect. Food presentation looked great. Waitress never came back and refilled my drink, or even asked how my food was. When I asked for my check then she asked how was everything and told me maybe next time I come it will be better. Sorry $27dollars there will be no next time. And if there ever is I will order something simple like a Hamburger and fries. The serverswhere to busy talking about there zero calories water addictive and not paying attention to there customers. 3 stars , historiclittle stop, not a must stop place. Room for a few 18 wheelers , and truck parking at truckstop across the street. Read more
Amazing home-style feel meal! Our appetizer came iut the same time as our food. It would good but I wouldn't have gotten it if... I'd known it would be the same time. But that's the only negative I have from here. The food was all really good! There were 4in our group & everyone loved their food. It was busy as it was lunch time & I think our server had half the restaurant but youcouldn't tell cause she killed it! If you're in the area, you have got to eat here! Read more
Very nice early diner on Route 66 in Needles. An original Route 66 diner. My wife had the Southwest Chicken Salad. I had the... Southwest Wrap upgraded with onion rings. Both were excellent and plenty of food. Service was outstanding and we were certainlywelcomed! This place is rated well for good reason. Read more

This is good old country cooking with a bunch of young energetic employees who always have a smile on their face. The food is... reasonably priced it was cooked order. You can stop for a quick photo op with the statue guy that is just inside the door. There?s a small novelty shop you could pay a quick visit to you on your way out. I don?t get through needles very often but whenI do I will definitely make this one of my stops. Read more
