Flavor of the food was definitely outstanding. My only knocks are that the portions are small for the price and it takes close... to an hour for the food to be ready from the time you order it online. I'll probably give it another try because this is one ofthe only restaurants that offers a lot of vegan options. Read more
This might be my first review ever but I had to leave one. My fiancé and I ordered some lunch from here for the first time and... we were blown away. As someone who is vegan and gluten free I struggle to find take out options but this was perfect!! I lovehow the menu changes weekly and uses fresh local ingredients. Incredibly astounding! I often struggle to find food that is healthy, appetizing, and affordable. My tandoori chicken panini was... all of the above. The sandwich itself had a great texture, bite, and flavor; the side of chips were extremely fresh and with anice spice. Additionally, there seems to be an excess of vegan/gluten-free options for my fiancé. I love how the menu changesand the emphasis on locally sourced food. I wish the location had more street visibility because I want this place tolast! This will be a new staple for me. Read more
I bought a take-out thali vegetarian meal last Thursday, to keep and have for my meatless Friday. I wasn't sure what to expect,... but what I got was a flavorful feast. I'm a fan! I also picked up a bag of their home-made snacks as well - the Fulwadi - andthe man who served me told me that while they usually eat them plain a customer had told him that these are great with hummus. Ihad hummus at home and tried it, and it's definitely a winning combination. I'll be coming back to Home Kitchen for sure, andcan recommend it to anyone with a taste for Indian food. Read more
Recently Home Kitchen provided a catered meal for a family gathering. The food was delicious and tasted like it was cooked at... home. It was not greasy which we appreciated. The service was courteous and efficient, and the portions were generous. We wouldcertainly order from them again! Read more
I've had Home Kitchen on my to-go list for a while. Today, I finally made it in for lunch. I ordered the chicken kabob. It came... with rice and coleslaw with house chutney. It was great. Portion size was perfect, and the flavors were outstanding. The teamwas very engaging as soon as I walked in. The restaurant is very clean. They have a number of pre-packaged snacks to purchase aswell. I learned that the restaurant makes everything from scratch, from roasting and grinding their own spices to all of thepre-packaged snacks. Home Kitchen will be on the take out rotation from now on. Awesome food. Authentic Indian cuisine with high quality ingredients. The tandoori chicken sandwich is to die for. Perfectly... balanced flavors and served with homemade chips. Tasty and refreshing without being too heavy. The black bean salad and curriesare also awesome. I love how the menu is laid out. It makes it so easy to order and you just know everything you get is going tobe fresh and delicious. The menu has tons of vegetarian and gluten free options, if that's your jam. If I could give this 6 stars I would!! There are SO many good things about this place - the food is delicious, the staff is... friendly, they use compostable containers for their sandwiches/dosas, and they graciously accommodated my food allergy!! We gotthe paneer bhurji panini, a masala dosa with no onions (hard to do in most Indian places in America!!), and the non-veg thali.Everything was fantastic and so delicious!!!
