We were so excited to try the BBQ crabs because someone told us how good they were. We got half an order, 1 pound of boiled... shrimp and a cup of gumbo. The boiled potato was good. Tea was delicious. Waitress was attentive and sweet. The consistency ofthe gumbo was perfect. It was a dark and creamy, however it was salty, over seasoned, and had WAY too much garlic powder. Weonly had 2 of the $26.99 crabs. They had a strange flavor. (Ammonia?) They were too fishy tasting. The boiled shrimp were brownthere was so much seasoning on them. We had 4 of those. I took a bite of the corn but had to spit it out in a napkin. I thinkthe lid came off of the bottle of seasoning and it all dumped in. I can't even describe how horrible it was. Delicious food! I was impressed by the variety of options, and what we had was very good. The options rang from more traditional... Cajun foods to a mixture of Southeast Texas foods like TexMex and BBQ. We had gator tacos which were phenomenal, but the loadedCajun fries were the best loaded fries I've ever had! Good sized portions too. Even the salsa that came with the tacos was good,and the chips were as well. Overall great food, and I'm excited to go back and try more of the options! Read more

My family dined here on Saturday, and it was hands down the best dining experience we could have ever had. Our server, Leah, was... very attentive to our large party. Other staff were super friendly and interacted with us and kept us entertained. We came herespecifically for the BBQ crabs, and they did NOT disappoint. Seriously worth the 114 mile drive from my home to thisrestaurant! We are already planning our next visit!! Read more

I have FINALLY made it to Touch of Cajun tonight and I was so impressed. Deanna and Nick helped us get a table and highchair as... soon as we walked in and made sure everything was clean. Once seated, John took care of us. He was very friendly and answeredall of our questions. The food was the best part! I got the crawfish which were great in size and easy to peel. My husbandordered chicken fried chicken with macaroni and mashed potatoes which were all fresh and seasoned perfectly. We also got boudainballs for an appetizer which were well priced for their size. My daughter was treated like a princess by each employee whowalked by and it was a very family friendly environment overall. Kenny and Deanna have done an awesome job and we can't wait togo back!
