My fiancé and I enjoyed a really lovely meal here - and on a budget adventure! I love that the menu has options to add proteins... if desired, toppings, etc. I got the Mac and cheese (I opted out of adding a protein, but I recommend adding the brisket) and myfiancé got the Brisket Sandwich and a lager (the name had “squirrel” in it, he was very happy with it). The Mac and cheesewas so delicious and creamy, truly a southern style Mac and cheese. The brisket sandwich was to die for, though. Deliciousbrisket, fell apart perfectly. You can add cheese or coleslaw and it comes with a free side. All for $14. Our service was alsoamazing, everybody was so nice to us and the atmosphere made me really happy. Wow, no wonder there was a wait at 1:30pm on a random Tuesday. While the beer was good, the BBQ was fantastic. The ribs were... the best I've had in years. The brisket was incredibly moist and tasty. The chili was yummy with just the right amount ofkick. The corn bread was warm. We stopped here on a road trip from Denver to Evergreen. Was a lovely day to sit out on the patio. Service is QR code based and... worked just fine. We had pulled pork and smoked chicken thigh with sides. Everything was quite delicious! Meat was tender,juicy, and had good smoky flavor. The sides of mashed potatoes and baked beans were great! @buseybrews wings are deservedly notable. They are super tender [without being mealy or dried out] and have great smoke flavor.... You have to like smoked wings that aren’t crunchy from being fried. The buffalo sauce had a lot of good flavor but was mildand light on the vinegar. Unsure if I had a bad batch or maybe the end of the batch of brisket. It had good flavor but it was abit dry and tough. I’d be willing to try it again. The hot link was good, just not how I like it, it was more finely groundand almost emulsified (like a hot dog.) The sides I got: Mac and cheese, and cornbread were amazing. The mule shoe milk stoutwas really good and exactly what I like, mild on the hops but rich with the chocolate and coffee notes. Wow - this place is a gem. They smoke and brew everything in house and everything we tasted was perfect. Highly recommend the... beer cheese soup and their wings, they are fall off the bone good, and you can’t go wrong with any beer choice. Greathospitality too. Well done! Can’t wait to be back. We love this place! We were in town for a show at Red Rocks and made sure to get back to this place. I had a smoked tofu slider... and my spouse had the wings. Both made for a nice lighter lunch. As for beers, you really can't go wrong! Also, the staff arefantastic (friendly, interesting, and welcoming). They are getting ready for a remodel of their back deck. Stopped here on our way to Boulder and we were very happy with our choice. Definitely get the dry rubbed wings, they were some... of the best we've had. The Mac and cheese with brisket was amazing! I would like to give a big shout out to this restaurant. From the moment we stepped foot in your restaurant to the time we left... we felt very welcomed and like we were family. The meals we had did not disappoint either. Your Cooks did an amazing job. Ashleywas very helpful and a joy. Everyone was so awesome and friendly. We will keep this place on our must go back list.
