Local place. May not look like much to the eye, but the food is excellent. I frequently choose to keep coming back here, even... though the are other choices. I prefer to avoid chains, and enjoy this bar/restaurant over many other local establishments. Good menu, very friendly staff, repeating weekly specials (clam night, prime rib and lobster night) and also specials thatchange weekly. The place is small. If you are looking for food, there are often bar tables available, or you can always eat atthe bar But if you have more than two people, want to be seated in the main areas, or it's a popular time, call several hoursor a day or so ahead. wonderful food, our server worked hard and fast for us, Great meal and great drinks
Everything I tried was great. From the warmed bread, to the spinach salad with homemade bacon dressing to the mashed potatoes to... the lobster bisque to the stuffed trout with crab meat. The white gravy on the potatoes was really creamy and buttery. My wifehad marinated chicken breasts which were okay; a little on the dry side. The desserts are from the local bakery down the roadand are delicious. Service was great, too. Definetly would like to go back. Read more

Nice atmosphere. Bar and seating dining. Hot Vegetarian options but possibly cooked on the same grill as meat.
We had a great server. When asked to do something, she followed through. She was very congenial and professional. We had the... steamed clams, terrible!!! It was though they didn't let them purge. They were full of sand. Everything else was good. Thediamond steak was very small for the cost but cooked to perfection. The calamari and marinara sauce delicious. Chicken pot piewas good, not exceptional but good. We would go back again. Read more
