Best food and service we have had while staying in Navarre. Our waitress Kayla was lovely. The food was all delicious. We got... stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer, which was so good and stuffed with crab. My husband had the cajun grouper which was so freshand delicious. I had the crab leg dinner which was delicious as well and a huge portion. Great price on the seafood toocompared to other places we are walking out completely stuffed. We will be going back!!! Nice family owned place. Read more

Took family here for what we thought would be a good seafood dinner. Spent $146 for rubbery, overcooked fish. My flounder had a... thick glue like sauce and the fish was rubbery. My husband had the fried seafood platter. Crab cakes were good but the fishdefinitely was frozen and not fresh. Very tough and dry in texture. You would think that the fish would be fresh, especiallysince the ocean is literally across the street! Such a disappointment!!! The crab dip appetizer was terrible, no one could eatit. We left more than half the food on the table. Such a shame. Service was by far, the worst thing at this restaurant. Foodcame out and never saw our server again. Don't waste your hard earned money! The best crab legs and butter I've ever had! Fish and shrimp were delicious, catfish wasn't great though. Service was good, but... could definitely have been better. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait for our table with 5 impatient kiddos, and decidedit was worth it and we waited outside. After an hour and 10 minutes we went and asked about our table, and she said she wentoutside but we weren't there (definitely not true because we never left and were literally right outside the doors on the bench,so that was aggravating) but we were still seated. I had zero idea the crab legs were going to be half of our ticket, ha! But, Iwill say, it was so worth it, SO good! Read more

I wanted a beer and quick bite at the bar. By myself. After work. Was told I could sit at the bar and have drinks for... 45-60minutes before they would take a food order. Was told they receive complaints from table waiting patrons and was thereason for the policy. I have scoured reviews and have note seen a complaint from those waiting for tables complaining a loneguy was eating/drinking before them and they believe that single patron should wait for them and all the other, 4 - 6 or largertables to order food first. Have never heard of any restaurant doing this...ever. So sorry, as a transplant/local I was hopingto find another restaurant to frequent and support. 1st time going. Just wanted a beer and quick bite. Very disappointing. Read more

Service was great. Food was decent but overpriced for what it is, in my opinion.

You may want to ask what the market price is before getting the Crab legs. OMG. Market is doing well there. Legs were great but... wholy cow at the price. I myself had the Surf and turf Ribeye cooked medium rare. Steak and fried shrimp was great. 1 member gotthe stuffed shrimp and was a little disappointed with the stuffing. Said it tasted like stove top stuffing. I would pass onthat. Cheese curds were ok but nothing that is a must. Staff was very friendly and Cody was our server. He was on top of things.Atmosphere was good and wait time was quick. 5 adults and 2 children and we spent more than expected due to the price on crablegs. 320 range with a tip. Definitely not the best price in town. Read more

This is our last night visiting Navarre for this trip. My wife found East Bay Crab House via Google and we decided to make it... our last dinner here. We arrived around 815-830pm, and if judging the "book by its cover", we should have turned around and gonesomewhere else. I walked in the front door and asked if they were still open. They said yes. We were promptly seated. It seemsas though they are only open from 5pm-9pm. The staff were gracious enough to serve us, even though they would get off soon. Weordered the crab dip and calamari appetizers, the blackened seafood Alfredo, crab cake belle rose, and some crab stuffed shrimpwrapped in bacon. Sounds delicious right? To say we were let down is an understatement. The calamari was beyond chewy (think asthough you took a bite out of a tennis shoe), the crab dip was bland, and I couldn't find any crab in it. The best part of theappetizers were the chips that came with the dip. The entrees arrived very quickly, almost too quickly. The crab cakes weremushy. There was no structure or form to them. I couldn't find any crab to speak of in them. The only crunch was from the greenonions on top. The red potatoes served with it were tender and cooked well. It seems like the entire entree was microwaved. Theshrimp. The shrimp could have been good. The amount of Bay Seasoning they put on them should be illegal. It completely killedthe entire dish, and I only had one shrimp. Another let down. The seafood Alfredo. It tasted just like a jarred sauce you'd getat the grocery store, but watered down. I would say the best part about them entree course were the hush puppies. We both onlytook a few bites then asked for to go boxes. I'm really hoping the terrible quality of the food is due to this being the "offseason" here on the island. Read more
