We got the crab dip and beignet fries as appetizers (not pictured here). They were exquisite. Very tasteful and fresh items. We... also got the crawfish étouffée and crawfish mac and cheese, both cup size, and they were pretty good. We had to add some saltand pepper to the mac and cheese though. For our main entrees we got the Half and Half (fried), the Sloppy Broussard (fried),the Mahi Sandwich, and Fish (its called Swai fish). You can see pictures of the main entrees in the review. Overall, I give thisplace a 4.5. A few points got knocked off for the lack of seasoning in the mac & cheese. Our server Chris was an incrediblehost and the live jazz was excellent. This place should get 10 stars! It was spectacular!! Shayna was the best waitress we've had in a long time (this is definitely a... hint to management to give this girl a raise!). The food was so, so good. And you better save room for the fried cheesecakebecause it was out of this world (hence why I didn't get a picture.. there was no time for photos!). We were hesitant to come here due to under 4 stars (barely). We went around 4:30 for dinner. the food was great! I had alligator... bites and my husband had Grilled shrimp and fish basket. Calamari was amazing and the beginets were awesome. My husband had thefried cheesecake that he loved. (he typically ally doesn't eat sweets if that tells you anything) I would definitely recommendvisiting this hidden gem! Read more
Stopped in for a drink and loved the atmosphere. Not quite on the beach but is within walking distance. Place is very nice, bar... was really nice and full. Did not try food this time but plan to in the future. Cool place to check out when on the island. Read more
The menu has changed but hasn't been updated online. A couple options that we were interested in were no longer available. The... NOLA BBQ Shrimp & Grits and Red Beans & Rice were fantastic! The fried pickles and Pretzel Balls w/Beer cheese were greatalso... as was the Sweet Potato Bread Pudding. All in all we were very happy with our selections and the service was on pointthroughout the meal. Would highly recommend stopping by if you like Cajun foods. Read more
Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. My party had looked at the menu before arriving and was disappointed that several... items aren't available right now since it's the off season (baked oysters, pick 2 dinner, catfish). Great place for beach atmosphere, great service, great food, and you you must have the deep fried cheese cake. Parking is never... an issue and now there's a Espresso shop inside the restaurant with plenty of seating of its own. We'll definitely return tothis establishment everytime we're in Navarre Beach.
