A modern, unique breakfast juice bar offering some delicious tasty food and drinks. I'm giving 5 stars because the food is good,... the service was efficient and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. Their toasts are well thought out with some twists on classicflavours such as avocado and toast. The price range is $10 to $20 per person, which is comparable to a larger breakfast in theUK (I'm thinking £10+). Overall, I'd recommend you visit this place for some tasty toasties and fresh juice. No one should order large juice from here. Regular (16 oz) was 7$ Large (24 oz) cost us 14$? Then why wouldn?t I order 2... regular? When we talked to the staff she acted like it?s not her business and didn?t give a s..t to the issue, just leave herbe. The person who did the pricing needs to retake math class from elementary school. (Note: They don?t list the price for largejuice on their menu or anywhere, be careful for the trap) Won?t come back again ##Update (8/16/22): Since I don't see a way toDM the owner via Google map, I contacted Toastique via their website. An employee called Blair responded on 8/1 asking me if Iwanted refund or a free juice, as well as my receipt number. I said refund is fine and attached the receipt with my email. Atthis point I still don't get my refund nor hear anything from them. I even sent a follow-up email on 8/11/22. I assume they justwant to looks good by responding to google review and make others feel they tried hard to resolve the issue. ##Update(8/29/22) Sent another follow up email on 8/26/22 and still hear nothing. This place is fine. I ordered the salmon toast and the gingerberry smoothie. The gingerberry smoothie was nothing to write home... about. The salmon toast was also okay. It tasted like any other smoked salmon on a carb (ie toast or a bagel). They dress it upnicely and they charge extra for a poached egg. They do offer hard boiled or a poached egg so that's a nice touch to it. Read more
We decided to walk to the Jefferson Memorial from our hotel during our visit to DC and I found this place by the river. This... place is clean and staff is super fast, they don't mess around as this place is popular. The pictures don't make justice to thehand crafted breakfast these folks put together. You get the perfect toast as the pictures from their menu. They look incredibleand taste even better. We got a savory one - 3 cheese italian and a sweet one - PB crunch. My husband wanted to come back here2 more times and I had to hold him back! ???????? Toastique has changed my view on toasts forever! Keep up the amazing job youguys. Fantastic location, service, and food. Very clean and easy to order. Our toast, bowl, and smoothie were all delicious. The OB &B... on gluten free bread was fantastic! They use two slices to make it more equivalent to the other breads they use. Great place forhealthy and delicious breakfast. Tables inside and outside. Read more
I was pleasantly surprised by the concept of this establishment. Never had I heard of gourmet toast until I was "today years... old" lol. But, I will tell you that you NEED to try this place! The Smoked Salmon with its thinly sliced pieces, capers onsourdough bread was perfect (no cream cheese for me). No need to decide, try! They offer a few other toast types, juices, andsmoothies. The toast were really good - filling, nice looking and tasty. The choice was also good. The juice tasted well. You have to order... at the counter and they bring food also only to the counter, which didn?t make any sense since we were some of the few peoplethere anyway and it was actually further for the waitress to walk to the counter than to us. It was also a bit dirty and I don?tget why they are using plastic cutlery. The place could have been amazing, but these little details ruin the experience. Read more
