A beautiful selection of sharable small plates in a cozy ambiance. I love how smooth their online ordering system is- it makes... checking out so much more easier and time effective. The fries were absolutely delicious and the gnocchi was some of the best Itried (we got it without the beef because my friend was vegetarian and it still delivered so much flavor, so I can only imaginehow succulent the entire dish is). We equally enjoyed their Brussel sprouts. their chai lattes (not pictured here) packed somuch flavor and were not too sweet. We loved every bit of our evening here and particularly enjoyed the work-free environmentafter work hours- that is a very thoughtful and humane way to center us back around food and companionship in times whereworking+eating has become very normalized. Mussels and crispy pork belly are musts here, incredible flavor and very fresh ingredients. Empanadas were good as well but not... as much of a standout. Stellar service and a quaint yet bustling atmosphere. Cocktails are also phenomenal. Will definitelybe returning. Read more

Stopped by for happy hour and the quality and service was amazing. Ordered the grilled avocado from the happy hour menu and... added the shrimp, per the recommendation of the server, and it was excellent. I can't wait to go back for dinner. Read more

Absolutely beautiful covered patio, with heaters if needed, and fantastic service. Easy to order and pay through their QR code,... and the food was the best we’ve had in a long time. The steak, gnocchi, and rockfish were all absolutely excellent! Read more

I ordered the seared fish and the gnocchi, which were both AMAZING. The flavors, ingredients, every bite I had was so delicious.... However, the only downside was the gnocchi was oversalted in my opinion. The decor, plants and design were a nice touch to theoverall vibe of this restaurant. 2 notes to keep in mind as of writing this review: 1) There is no table service - you placeyour order online and the food will be delivered to you. 2) You will need proof of vaccination and ID to dine in. The highlight of The Royal is certainly the ambiance. I loved the plants and decor- even the dinnerware was nice. There is no... table service- rather you place your order online. It was simple enough, and the food came out relatively fast. The guava pastrywas yummy. I would suggest ordering this to share as this might be too sweet for some to eat by themselves (I at least found ittoo sweet to eat the whole thing). I tried the Autumn Spice Latte. I really appreciate the barista's beautiful latte art! Thelatte was quite sweet as well but not overly so. I would also like to mention that the latte came in what appeared to be astandard 8 oz mug and was over $7. This seems way overpriced for a drink that's 2/3 milk. For my main I had the Eggs andPotatoes. This is one of the few options on the brunch menu for my fellow vegetarians. When it came to my table I was tantalizedby the appearance of the plate, but disappointment ensued. I found the whole plate to be under seasoned. I could not taste orsee any salt or pepper on the eggs. The potatoes were crispy but were also lacking flavor in the salt and pepper department. There were a couple slices of toast on the plate but it was nothing special. Even though I absolutely adore the interior of thisspace, a restaurant's main determining factor on whether I return is the food. And based on that, the likelihood of returningfor a second visit is quite low. I really wanted to love the food and give this place a higher rating but alas.. Read more

This was my first time at The Royal. It was a nice experience. The staff was really nice, the food was delicious, and it looks... like they are working hard to keep everyone safe during these covid times. The only challenge we experienced was when theytried to make it easy for people to split the bill electronically. We couldn’t really figure it out, but it all worked out. Weall just paid for our own meals on our own phones. I had the Lox Tartine and we shared the Guava Pastry. Both were really good! Read more
