The food was getting cold when I got it and I asked for some more hot sauce and the server just gave me one and put it on the... counter. I ordered a pickup so it will be ready when I got there but it felt like it was left on the counter for a long time.The food was good tho. Read more
Ordered on 10/30/22. Falafel was small and rock hard, not even able to pierce with a plastic fork and was extremely crunchy.... Missing pita bread in order. Halal guys at other locations has been superb, but this location was far from this usual quality. Read more

Good place if you are in downtown after 10ish as other closes down early but they are open till 11. We tried their rice over... chicken and rice over falafel. It was not amazing but kind of satisfied your hunger. Staff was quick and helpful, lot of sittingtable to eat in as well. Read more
To my surprise, the location now skimps on rice, bread and not just the meat, it also charges more than other locations. Maybe a... bad day? But the food is as great as it can be. I did even point that out to manger as I did not see the rice, he said yes wegave you rice. For that price range and amount of food, my money is best spent someplace else. My most favorite food in Washington!! Do try their chicken/beef combo with rice, pita bread and grilled beef/chicken. It?s so... delicious. Staff are very polite and kind. Don?t forget to try their Baklava desserts? you will lick your fingers. I eatlunches there whenever I am in D.C. They have more than three outlets in D.C. I like to eat near the DuPont circle. I love TheHalal Guys a lot. This is a convenient food shop for Muslim travelers. Read more
Just overall a horrible experience. We ordered delivery and the food was very subpar, see below. Falafel was rock hard and... tiny, salad was brown as if it was sitting out, pita was missing (they did sub in pita chips, not what I wanted), meat (bothchicken and beef) were VERY dry. To wrap it all up both myself and my boyfriend felt very sick for about 24 hours after eating.We will never be ordering again. Read more
