Good food. Poor service. Either they?re talking on the phone or preoccupied having a conversation, that asking for assistance is... a disturbance to them. Also, wearing a mask when repeatedly sneezing and preparing food should be really considered. Read more

Stumbled upon this place for a quick sip. Got the classic iced boba and ginger limeade. Amazing. The sunlight by the window seat... definitely added to the experience. Recommended. Read more

Oh dear, total shame but I just had a horrible experience here. I ordered a hot jasmine tea, it came cold, which is fine as far... as mistakes go, but instead of being apologetic they were really rude. When I said let me check if I can drink it this way so tosave time waiting for a hot one, I got told off again. Apparently I shouldn?t have tried it because they could sell to someoneelse. Really?! Just walked out in the end as felt they were extremely rude and I?m not down with being spoken to that way. Read more

As a tea place, it's not bad. I was visiting from out of town and decided to check this place out because I saw that it looks... like they have real teas (not just generic "green tea," "black tea," etc.). As you can see from the menu pictures, they do havea large selection of teas! So I came in the afternoon and got a drink to go to sip on while I walked around Dupont Circle -- aclassic Dragonwell (Longjing) green tea. They gave me a to-go cup with the tea leaves in a sachet (pictured) and you can seeit's whole leaves (and if you're familiar, is definitely longjing). No problem, I can measure the steeping time myself, and youmight even consider it a win because you can re-steep the leaves later if you want (I tried the next day but it wasn't goodanymore). One thing that puts me off is that this place doesn't brew tea in the traditional gongfu manner. You don't see thetraditional brew teaware like gaiwans or Yixing teapots and I think that affects the tea's taste unfortunately. Granted, Ididn't sit down and drink, so maybe the experience is different from a teapot. Anyway, I waver between 3-4 stars, but I lean toa 4 just because I think places with real tea should be visited over places like Starbucks or milk tea shops (for the teaspecifically). Read more

Tea is pretty good but I didn't find what I ordered to be that exceptional for the price. That said, the upstairs space is... excellent and they are very reasonable in how much time they give you for a purchase so this is a great place to go to meet, work, or have a nice relaxing break in your day. Overall recommended for the ambience. Read more
