We were in the neighborhood and we're looking for some light food to tide us over until dinner when we came across this Georgian... restaurant that sounded interesting. We hadn't had Georgian food before so was excited to give it a try. The place had a modernaesthetic with both outdoor and indoor seating. Since it was ridiculously hot outside, we ended up eating indoors but theoutdoor space seems great for when the weather is better. My wife is lactose intolerant which unfortunately meant most of themenu was off limits because it had dairy, including the breads. But the staff pointed us to the off the grill section whichwould work. We ended up trying out the Pork Mtsvadi which was essentially pork kebabs topped with onions, pomegranate seeds, green onion with a side of green ajika. It was delicious! When you get a bite of all the things together, it was perfect blendof flavors. The pomegranate seeds especially helped give it a little something extra. While that's all we got this time so thatwe didn't ruin our appetite for dinner. I'll have to come back to try some of the other dishes. Read more

Not authentic Georgian food but something similar adapted for the westerners. I grow up in Eastern Europe where Georgian food... are very popular and known for large welcoming juicy very flavorful portions and tabla's food wasn't it at all.Tabla's food isvery blend, dry, small portions and overpriced. My lunch check was $50 for two small dishes and 1small margarita, left hungry???? Disappointed Read more

My first visit. Went with no expectations. Left pleasantly surprised. I went during happy hour so I could try something that... wasn't full menu price. Ordered sliders and fries. Took as much home as I ate. Very, very good. Read more

Fantastic Georgian food. The decor is chic and the food is oh so delicious. My friends and I split a few things from the menu.... The salad was fresh and the meat was so tender. I think the stand out item was the egg khachapuri. It was cheesy and oh so good.I can't wait to go back. Read more

We shared 7 plates between 4 of us. All were interesting dishes, and we all had different favorites. Service was so friendly and... attentive and helpful (I think her name was Autumn). My favorites were the traditional kachapuri and the fried pork belly. Read more

It was our first time eating Gregorian food. We ordered the three Khachapuri special (3 for $33), lamb chops and salad plus a... red wine flight for my friend. The Khachapuri were good. Favorite was the Elote. The original Ajaruli was a little plain butstill tasted good. The Maryland crab cake Ajaruli was just okay. I don?t think the sauce blended well with the crab and cheese. The lamb chops were tasty. The salad was delicious with a nice sized portion for the price. My friend wasn?t a huge fan of theflight and said it tasted like ?musty grapefruit?. This place is great if you come with friends and eat family style. Ourwaitress was very friendly. I would come back to try other Khachapuri and their soup dumplings. Read more
