Sometime only small moves makes a huge difference. Visiting from Toronto stopped by to get our coffee after a good 4 hours... walk/ride. Chance the gentleman in the picture offered free cake pops to my kids as a welcome to Washington. Conveniently located near the capitol mall. The store was a little bit messy when we arrived in the morning with some trash on... the floor. Bathrooms were pretty clean. The baristas were friendly and were very quick with the orders! Read more
Pathetic customer service. Just went 1/2 hr ago. The woman who took my order(name tag i think said aisha) acted as if she was... doing me a favor. Her facial expression was totally unwelcoming. Due to my night shift, I came to city early. While everything else was close at 0600, it was open and staff were nice and... understanding to let me use restroom. So I bought drinks and food here and it was so good. I knew I can trust starbuck! Read more
This may be the worst Starbucks in all of Washington, D.C. and it?s management?s fault, not the workers. Here?s why: 1)... Understaffed: Located in a highly touristy area but off from where many locals live, it?s clientele tend to be tourists. Duringbusy seasons, it?s slammed with people wanting a quick coffee. However, there are only a few people staffed causing a backlog oforders. I went in around 5 p.m. on a Sunday and waited just ten minutes to get to the front of the line, but 30 to get my drink.When I got it, it was wrong. 2) Space: It?s tiny with just a few tables crammed off to the side. It?s often dirty with thetrash cans overflowing. If you can, go to any other coffee shop in the city. Read more
Jack was amazing! My latte tasted so delicious and they made some cute latte art! I didn?t catch the young lady?s name who was ... on the POS up front, but she like blonde ristretto and she was so cheerful and kind. This store was clean, everyone was in agood mood, and it was great to see everyone smiling. I wish I lived nearby because this would be my regular store. Read more
