The drinks were good however there was someone that clearly had something going on hanging out at the door. They were rambling... craziness. They came into the store and walked around back and forth harassing customers. This man got in my face because I waswaiting for my drink. The employees didn?t seem to know what to do and brushed it off as if they deal with this regularly. Itwas definitely uncomfortable and would make me not come back to this location. Read more
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the service was efficient and quick. If I had to say one not so good thing about... this location, it would be in regards to the cleanliness of the inside and outside. This location definitely needs some TLC asthere were crumbs, food, water bottle, etc. everywhere. It would be a great place for coffee outside if this was corrected. Read more
The staff were friendly but distracted by each other?s banter. They weren?t that busy but it took about 10 mins to get my order.
Good proximity to all the museums. It?s very small on the inside and most of the seating is on the outside, maybe 6 seats total... on the inside. We had to enjoy out coffee and bagel outside. Was a little dirty on the inside compared to most Starbucks and thebathrooms have a number keypad on them(so I take it you have to ask for the code to use the restroom). Unfortunately their restrooms were closed for "maintenance" the entire time I was in DC. I do enjoy reading or working at... Starbucks and in this case, I read for a bit to cool off and enjoyed a trenti iced tea. The latter wanted out at somepoint...luckily there are restrooms at the usually free museums (if you reach them during open-hours). Many guests got a bitfrustrated with the not available restrooms. And all of them made a purchase - tourists are usually good like that nowadays (andwould understand this practice even if it would ever be made mandatory again). Other than that this location has a bunch ofbusy times, some seating inside, some more outside. It is not a large Starbucks, so plan on sitting outside or going somewherewith your purchase. Read more
Love the location of this Starbucks, and I truly liked the inside of the store as well. Their coffee spectrum wall is lovely and... shows you all of their coffees from lightest to darkest. However their service is mediocre. Their baristas are rude and theylook like they don?t want to be there. Their iced caramel macchiato tasted weird, not like the usual at other Starbucks. Iordered a plain bagel with cream cheese and they didn?t give me the cream cheese lol. You can sit outside and chill, thelocation is great. Read more
While the staff are relatively friendly and efficient, the cap on my coffee was left loose by the server. Very nearly leaving me... drenched in hot coffee. Luckily caught it at the last moment and prevented what could have been a very painful experience! Theinterior of the store is fairly pleasant, though rather untidy to say the least. The staff could do with paying closer attentionto this as it would seriously lift the feel and atmosphere of the place. Thus making the Starbucks coffee experience here moreof a pleasure than just another coffee. As with other Washington DC Starbucks stores, additional training would benefit theStarbucks brand here. And closer attention to details from staff would seriously elevate the customer experience. Read more
Good service in a VERY busy SBX location A Starbucks review really hinges on three things, the drink, the people, and the... place. This location gets 5 stars for my drink today. Fast delivery to the counter (I always order inside) and it was puttogether well - tight lid, hot beverage sleeve thingy, and no spills and stuff on the outside of the cup (hate that) The teamwas working really well together and they provided excellent support to everyone who came through the line. There is not muchspace to stand around here, the line kept moving. Fine job. The place is Starbucks standard furniture and fixtures but in avery small footprint They have nice outside seating here. There is a homeless population here that may approach you at themoment you are enjoying your $4 cup of coffee. That?s something to think about. Very well done here today SBX. thanks. Read more
