Are you at a conference, convention, or meeting, and you just need a break from that whole vibe? This is your place, and... vegetables to boot! I had fall falafel and fries (which you need to order as a side). They were tasty. The food was fast. Theambience is casual, quiet, and chill. And the service was enough sass to provide confidence in the food and make me feel evenmore at ease. Thank you for the tasty food and the respite from performative professionalism, and thanks to your ladies forbeing quick and authentic. Read more

This was delicious! Ordering was simple and my food was ready quickly. We got the mushroom shawarma hummus and the za?atar... cauliflower bowl and both were great! Generous portions as well. Read more

This is a vegetarian/vegan restaurant that sells Israeli street food. I am always looking for new spots when I visit D.C., I... decided to give them a try during my last visit. I had the Mushroom Shawama pita. The oyster mushrooms were seasoned well andeverything tasted so fresh. The downside for some is the cashless service with ordering using a kiosk. Would definitely trythem again during another visit. There were other options I would love to try. Read more

Delicious flavorful Israeli street food Restaurant. You order and pay for your food at the kiosk. The employees work as a team... and they're so friendly. I got the pita veggie burger and it was surely filling and delicious. It doesn't come with a side you'dhave to order that separately along with a drink. You feel much better after than if you were eating a greasy burger. GreatVegan option. Read more

Nice seating and indoor space. The cauliflower pita was average - could have been a bit more flavorful and spicy. The menu... looked good so will likely come back to try another one. Read more

Lot's of delicious and healthy Mediterranean vegan inspired food. I got the Za'atar Cauliflower bowl with extra spicy sauce. The... meal was prepared in about 15 minutes and cost $14.57. They have both indoor and outdoor seating if you want to dine-in.Overall, I was extremely satisfied and will be visiting this establishment again. Read more

Super yummy. I stopped in for dinner, ordered the mushroom bowl over greens with hummus and falafel added; plus a cardamom... chocolate chip cookie. The bowl was both tart and savory with the pickling and mushrooms. A good mixture. I was really glad thatI added the falafel since this was for dinner, it made the dish feel filling and was nicely complimentary. The cookie was nice, moist and chocolaty, but I like a regular chewy chocolate chip cookie more. It was good for being vegan :) The service wasgood, the eating area was clean. I liked the Israeli music that was playing. No reason to not come back for more :) Read more

UPDATE 4/11/22: 2 days since first review, and I got back for the falafel. The falafel itself, not sure I've ever tasted the... difference of flavor in the falafel itself, BUT... the whole thing put together with the ingredients on it, way better thanalmost ever place I've had it. I really liked falafel, but I think it's been taken to another level here. But, don't trust me,please, go taste it for yourself. And if you're not vegan or vegetarian, it really is worth going to this vegan restaurant. WishI could try the burger, but I won't eat mushrooms. Sorry Carla. Looking forward to going back before I leave town. And thanks tothe restaurant for responding. So I really wanted to give this a 4.5, but it's not an option. The food was good, don't get mewrong. I had the sausage pita. With the harrisa it was super spicy and the added veggies gave it a good amount of texture andcrunch. The sausage itself, was fine, but tasted like any of the veggie sausages that you can get at a store. I was hoping for alittle more. Other than that, I really like the place. The decor is fun and interesting, and there's a cozy seating area withlong tables that fit 6-8 people. And yes, by cozy I mean small... BUT this is Israeli street food, so you should take it to goanyway! I do really like it and I'm looking forward to trying the falafel, and some of the other tasty sounding dishes. And Iwould order the sausage again, just wasn't as great as I had hoped for. I hear the burger is great. There's a video on theirwebsite of this woman raving about it. Check it out, it's what helped make up my mind about going there. Thanks Carla. And thereason for the half point deduction... There was no bathroom. Didn't hear if it was out of service or if they just didn't haveone. Will update, post falafel visit. Read more
