My husband and I traveled to DC for business for 3 days and we chose Seven Reasons for dinner one of the nights. We had the... most incredible experience!!! The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was amazing, but the people really made the experience! We did the 4 course prix fixe menu with a bottle of wine and the carajillo with dessert. (Also included was an amuse boucheand a palate cleanser before dessert.) It was the perfect amount of food. As suggested by the server, we both ordered somethingdifferent from each course so we could try each other's food. She explained each dish and suggested how to eat it. Solid latin cuisine restaurant but lacked a few things to give it 4 stars. Pros: 1. Food was cooked perfectly. 2. Beef cut was... great and perfectly cooked and came with a great potato mash that was cooked in the middle and crispy in the end. Very goodpairing! 3. Great dessert! Definitely go with the desserts... the strawberry pistachio meringue! Cons: 1. Temperature of therestaurant was slightly hot especially when the seats soaked in heat. 2. Poor choice in menu. Ex. not a fan of raw halibut in mypersonal opinion.. 3. Drink temperature could have been better. Drinks were slightly warm. I went for my birthday on 8/7. We got the Tasting Menu and a few cocktails and wine. I was blown away from the service to the... progression of each course. It was absolutely spectacular. Everyone in the restaurant; treated you as if you were the mostimportant patron in the world. The service definitely elevated the overall experience. We will definitely be back, sooner thanlater! We reserved the chef’s table to host clients and the entire experience was exceptional. The tasting menu consisted of 6... courses that were beautifully presented and we opted to add on the wine pairing for each course. The food was absolutelyimpeccable, and the level of service that we received was simply unmatched. The 7 Reason’s team were warm, attentive andpulled out every stop to make sure we had a top-notch experience. The Chef-Owner came out ahead of service to greet and thankus for dining with his team for the evening. They went above and beyond to accommodate food allergies and preferences, and evenmade sure to include different mocktails for me with each course since I don’t drink. Our clients kept asking how we foundthis place, and were blown away with the experience. 10 out 10 will return and would recommend. Great food and awesome service! I opted for a la carte and felt satisfied after a drink, two courses and dessert. My table of... four all ordered drinks, two or three courses, and dessert, and sampled each other's dishes. I scraped each dish, especially thepork belly, clean. We all had great things to say about their meal, but special shout out to the staff who were all pleasant andattentive. I'd love to come back and celebrate during another special occasion. Read more
I was overjoyed to find out they offer a vegetarian tasting menu option. Each course was delicious and beautifully presented.... Dessert happened to be my favorite- it was refreshing, light, and not too sweet. The customer service was exceptional as well. Ilooked forward to dining here again! Read more
This restaurant is definitely all about the experience. Each dish that arrives at your table is broken down and explained. Our... waiter gave us a little history on the range of Latin countries that inspired each dish. The decor was very nice as well. Itwas also explained how the serving sizes ranged from small to large. They recommend 2-4 dishes per person, so beware and comeprepared because this place is a little pricey. Read more
My husband and I came here for dinner and all I can say is that we had a fantastic experience. We tried all the recommendations... of our waiters and everything was excellent. The food was simply unique, so many amazing flavors. So many unique drinks, theespresso martini is the best I've ever tasted.
