The Roti in Union Station just opened 7 weeks ago . Antoine and Sharene went above and beyond expectations making dinner a... fabulous fast casual experience which was much needed after a delayed train. Thank y?all! Read more

The falafel was very good and the spice was just right. I especially liked that the falafel wasn't dry.

It is fresh and delicious. The build-a-bowl process allows you to choose your toppings rather than the standard wrap and go... process. If you feel the portion size is less then go for multiple toppings. Chicken flavor is good. Sometimes the lines mightbe crazy but for the price it is a good food choice inside the union station. Gotta say it's super pricey for what you get this cost me 13.21 because of some of falafel, but I don't mind paying any amount... for food if it's good. It's mediocre, why I won't return ? The service. Bad cashier to lady who place food on table to lady whodidn't greet me. Not first time here why I decided to write a review, I usually don't. Everytime I given this place a try theservice sucks, hope manager can fix this. I won't be returning. Good luck to them. Read more

Well. Let's be clear. Roti is a hindu word for type of bread. "modern Mediterranean" is a euphemism for Syrian, Lebanese, and... Israel cuisine, for this is not Greek, Turkish, Croatian, Italian, French, Spanish, Egyptian, Libyan, Algerian, Tunisian,Moroccan, or perhaps another med country I unfortunately left off the list. Come on. Is america that food dumb to need a foodcategory that seemingly encompasses 20 countries? Ok then. The food. Bold flavors. But a mess. Go to a middle eastern restaurantand the mezze are served elegantly and seperatly. The flavors are meant to be savored. I felt like my plate was a trough fromwhich to put my snout into. Suggestion : spread it out. Use larger plates, let us mix the flavors, not your employees sobbingthe sauces everywhere. Tldr: bring your own dishes and have them fill them seperatly to enjoy decent flavors on your own terms.Oh yeah, I know it's in a train station, but come one we can push for better, can't we America? It's delicious! Have had it twice. Another user complained of a too small portion size for the price - I recommend asking for... more "toppings". With so many choices at no extra cost I always manage to fill mine to the brim with delicious things to thepoint where it becomes hard for he employee to close my wrap. At $7 after tax for a filling meal I find it very affordable. Theemployees are friendly and quick too. Read more

How does one review a fast food chain? Hmmm...well, this location is in Union Station and has a lot of seating room so that is... never a problem. The food is decent and consistent to any other Roti in the DC area. I always find the portions too small forthe price you pay. The plus is this place has fountain Cherry Coke. Score! Read more
