The food was absolutely delicious and every one of the staff were attentive and amazing. The atmosphere is bustling and lively,... albeit a little loud. Such a great dining experience! Every dish was delicious and the service was exceptional. You get plenty of food - we added on... several dishes (everything sounded too good to choose!), but we would have been very comfortably full with 4 courses each. Can?trecommend this place enough! Read more
For the prices, this is the best Michelin-starred restaurant in DC. I loved the decor in the inside of a small intimate... restaurant with bookshelves throughout. We were give a four course menu, with four selections to chose from on each course fora total of $85 per person. Every selection was delicious, but even better is the fact that you can add a selection for only$10. I also like how they serve each selection in the middle of the table for guests to share. They also have a date nightdrink special with two cocktails and a bottle of wine for $75. This is the perfect place to come in a group of four, so thewhole group can order ever selection on the menu and share. Rooster & Owl is the real deal in DC. Their Michelin star is well deserved. Their ambience provides the familiar hustle and... bustle of a city. Their service is incredibly top notch, I can?t over express their attention to detail. We tried absolutelyeverything on the menu and WOW it all packed tons of unique and delicious flavours that were exciting to try and warming incomfort. Their cocktails including their own whiskey compliment the menu excellently. We also had a delicious bottle wine. Imust say their pastry chef went above and beyond for us as we took the dessert to go. I highly recommend going out of your wayto experience dining at Rooster & Owl! Read more
Fantastic experience. Came in for our anniversary, we asked our server for recommendations and everything she recommended was... amazing. The portions are generally big enough to share between two people, so feel free to order different items off the menuand share with your dining partner. We enjoyed every single dish we were served, even the rolls rough to us before the meal andthe cookies provided with the check. We will definitely go back next time we visit DC. Read more
Decently executed meal with some highlights & a couple of low points. We enjoyed the variety of options in the four courses and... how each course was intended to be shared amongst the table. The Gnocchi & Kale entree and the Mackerel left a whole lot to bedesired, but the Octopus, Short ribs and Duck plates were great. While I wasn't blown away by flavors or techniques, the staffwere friendly and efficient and we all left satisfied- not too full, but not hungry. We might be back to see how the seasonalmenu changes. Great place for friend gathering, especially if you have a party of four. All dishes on the menus are designed for sharing (4... dish options per course). Great vibe and great services. We arrived half an hour earlier and they went out of their way toaccommodate us. Definitely worth the trip here. Highly recommend. Read more
