It has been increasing difficult to order take out. Their business model has been changing to make it unfriendly to take out... customers. I have lived in the neighborhood for almost a decade. The tacos used to be a regular stop by on the walk home. I'vewatched it go from the quick, cheaper takeout serving el techo with free chips and salsa, to equivalent to el techo prices fortake out, to now I cannot stop by and receive service. Tonight, I stood at the register without any service and there is a QRcode that someone pointed me to. I understand that on a busy Saturday, I can appreciate business model changes, but either closetake out or allow people to order at the register on a chill weekday. Read more

Today was my second and last time giving this place a chance. My first time ordering, I wanted to try lamb Birria tacos.... Unfortunately the consume was nothing but a flavorless bowl of oil and the tacos had the worst after taste. The queso was goodthat day though, saved the meal honestly. Today I tried a chicken burrito. The chicken was dry as dust and the burrito hadlittle to no filling. The cheese was not melted and the entire thing was cold. I am only a 3 minute walk away from this placethere?s no reason why my food should?ve been cold. On top of that there was hair all in my cup of salsa which I noticed after Iattempted to choke the dry thing down. I definitely had to request a refund. Skip this place. Could have been great if they followed the customer?s directions. Asked for no pico on my burrito and they... didn?t listen. Had to pick it out of the burrito which destroyed the tortilla and was cold by the time I got to it. They didn?tgive me all the items I ordered. The only good thing about them was the fried avocados. I don't leave many 5 star reviews, but this place really rocked hard. Everything we had was the best ever: lamb tacos, fried... avocado burrito, the cilantro margaritas... The rooftop bar was fantastic. Good music and vibe, great bartender and attentivestaff. My girlfriend insisted on leaving a nice cash tip for Jorge, who was showing off his dance grooves all evening. Thèse tacos were absolutely delicious and so were the cocktails. Service was quick and thé ambiance on the second floor was... relaxing. The decorations were beautiful and it was nice and toasty (despite it being winter). I tried chicken, brisket andshrimp tacos which were yummy! I will be back again. Read more
