I loved the vibe at Oki Bowl. It was so beautiful inside and ordering system was very convenient. I heard about Oki Bowl through... Tik Tok and decided to try it. Honestly I thought it was okay. It tasted good but I?ve definitely had better ramen. My frienddid love their curry ramen there though. I think it?s mainly popular because of the ambiance. Read more

Delicious ramen! It was the perfect meal for a rainy day in DC. We came with a group of 4 and got seated right away for a Monday... dinner. Ordering is easy; scan the QR code, then order and pay on the app. Each dish can be modified or changed to yourpreference. I started with the strawberry lemonade for a drink and ordered the Tom yum ramen. Usually it comes with shrimp but Isubstituted that with the fried chicken instead. I really appreciated the fact that substituting meat or any other modificationswas free. The ramen was delicious! The perfect amount of spice and great flavor. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and reallygood. The only small thing that we noticed is there wasn't any hot sauce or chili oil when we requested it. The only thing theyhave is a spicy mayo for their sushi which wouldn't go well with ramen. Other than that no issues and our food was great. Sofar Oki Bowl is the best ramen I've had in DC! Update: I have since learned that the kimchi ramen is, in fact, not vegetarian, since the broth is made with chicken broth. This... was a pretty disappointing realization considering how much I loved that ramen, but the galanga ramen is also delicious (and isactually vegetarian)!! The delightfully fragrant broth is made with coconut milk and galangal and topped with assorted mushroomsand tempura kale -- you can also request "soft kale" (just boiled, unbattered kale) if you would prefer. All in all, Oki Bowlis a wonderful spot for unique and delicious takes on ramen, beautiful and Instagrammable decor, and what feels like a genuineillusion or hallucination when you stop by the restroom to wash your hands. Prices have risen over the last few years, so OkiBowl isn't nearly as affordable as it was a few years ago, but they're still fairly reasonable for the ramen dishes. Theappetizer prices are a bit outrageous, though -- just four pieces of shumai or karaage will cost you upwards of $12, and thetiniest bowl of seaweed salad or plain edamame will run $10. If you make your way to Oki Bowl, definitely go for one of theramen or rice dishes and stay clear of the appetizers -- the portion sizes are also massive, so you probably won't even need theapps. -- This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Georgetown area! I love coming here during the winter to warm up andenjoy a delightful meal. The first thing that sets Oki Bowl apart from the rest is the shop's atmosphere -- the restaurant iscolorful and uniquely decorated, with seemingly random trinkets covering the walls and ceilings in a wonderful symphony. It'sdefinitely an incredibly Instagrammable and Snapchatable location and does a great job of appealing to the college demographic. The service is fairly good, although it can be a bit slow at times. As for the food, there are definitely better and moreauthentic ramen restaurants out there, but none of them are quite like Oki Bowl. Oki Bowl has a few tradit Read more

Food tastes good. I ordered the curry ramen and it is something new for me. My friend ordered chicken pop and says it?s a bit... spicy for his liking but it?s good. We love the order thing where you scan the qr code and pay online too. I just wish that theydon?t rush us when eating. Immediately after my friend finished his food the lady picked up his bowl and while I was stilleating she asked me if I want a box for my ramen and I said no I?m still eating it. A few minutes later, I wasn?t done drinkingand eating, lady came over again and I just gave her my ramen even if I wasn?t done. Place has great interior and is definitelyig worthy even the bathroom has design too. Read more

A must visit whenever I?m in GTown, though I do miss their M street location - it had the most intricate birdhouses and tiny... figurines all over the walls and ceiling. This location does a similar take on the birdhouse decor but more colorful. Theceiling has pretty in pink roses matching the rest of the vibrancy in the furniture and various patterns meshing together. Theservice is always great with a nice playlist vibing in the background. They have a new order and pay by phone system which waseasy to use especially if you already know what you want. I always order the Oki curry ramen ????, I?ve yet to find anythinglike it elsewhere. If you can take a little spice, it?s an unforgettable dish IMO. Miso is second best if you?re not a chickenfan. Read more
