Beet cocktail was great. My friend loved her cucumber smash. My favorite dish was the broccoli. Well cooked and tasted great... with the kind of mustardy chutney. Actually, my favorite might have been the spaghetti with cumin and carrots and ricotta. Imight be misremembering what was in all of this — but it’s on the summer seasonal menu. The above dishes were really reallygood. I was a little disappointed by the schnitzel, mainly because it was super fatty. The pickled blueberry/relish stuff on topwas quite good. Portion sizes were nice. Service and staff were great and they accommodated my friend and I plus two small dogson the patio with grace. Lovely space too. Will go again! Read more

When.something is so good you have to share it. The seasonal menu is exception. The ability to really build a meal from the... options on the menu made it that much more enjoyable. In this case the heirloom tomatoes fried catfish , fried plants. And friedoysters were all exceptional. The Peach margaritas is well balanced( not to sweet and the margaritas with Love was the rightkind of spicy. Read more

Nina May is a such a cute place, it feels like you are in a beach restaurant, but in the middle of DC. We ordered the chef’s... choice brunch, which was tasty and very brunchy, but the star of the meal were the orange ricotta pancakes. One of the bestpancakes I’ve ever had. If I ever return, I would make sure to get those pancakes again. Read more

The food was alright. It definitely sounded better when reading the menu, the flavors of the dishes I had didn't mesh well. The... venue is pretty cool I like that it's in a neighborhood and kind of low key. The service was good, I had no complaints on thatend. I'll probably try it again at some point in the future. It's hard to recommend with so many great restaurants in the city. Read more

COCKTAIL: Nina May GT $14 gin/ mediterranean tonic/ seasonal fruit *very refreshing and not too gin forward, very... balanced SNACKS: Herb Scented Parker House Rolls $12 with green garlic and scallion butter *too hard of crust on the outsidewhich trickled into the inside of the roll, only soft and fluffy in the inner most part, the butter was the best part ChiliMarinated Prawns in Pita $21 pickled cabbage, seasonal kimchi, herb lebnah *beautiful presentation, taste was very bland, Iwould not recommend this dish SHARED PLATES: Cacio e Pepe Agnolotti of Caramelized Onion + Ricotta Cheese $20 parmesanreggiano, toasted szechuan peppercorns, fennel fronds *favorite dish of the night, the agnolotti had pillowy texture and wecould taste the different cheeses and cracked pepper, wish we had ordered two and skipped the snacks We also got a clam dishwhich was also very bland and needed some seasoning, only ate the clams, the rest of the dish didn't make sense. DESSERT: Thechocolate tart was rich and creamy with a very crispy crust,. SERVICE/ATMOSPHERE: Service was pleasant and consistentthroughout our meal, 4 stars. Overall the food was just ok, 2 stars. Dinner for two was about $130 and I would not come back. Read more
