Reading the reviews before buying i was excited . I?m from florida so i didn?t know if the sushi would taste better. Well it... didn?t. We ordered the salmon and shrimp tempura rolls and they were awful. It had big chucks of shrimp poking out and thesalmon had a awful aftertaste . Also ordered the sampler and the fish did not look fresh . Both of our stomachs hurt the entirenight . Plus felt like they were a bit overpriced. Def would not recommend. I WAS CRAVING SUSHI AND HAD SEEN HIGH REMARKS ABOUT THIS PLACE ON SOCIAL MEDIA SO I WENT. EXPECTING TO SIT DOWN AND EAT THEY?RE... ONLY OPEN FOR TAKEOUT! BUMMER! BUT THAT DIDN?T STOP ME FROM GIVING THIS PLACE A GO. I ordered 2 rolls, an avocado salad, eel +ikura + mackerel sashimi and shrimp/veggie tempura. Everything was great. 10/10 for Presentation!!! They even have alcohol forsale (TO GO). Definitely adding this spot to my list Hopefully they return to dine-in service soon because if their TO GOlooks/tastes this good I could only imagine how the experience is sitting inside the place enjoying the food. As far as sushi goes, the prices are fairly good, and the quality and taste is also good?I just wish they would have more... Japanese craft beers! This place is nice, though, so try it if you like sushi and or sake! Read more
FINALLY I FOUND A HIBACHI PLACE IN DC (note they are takeout only though) !! Their hibachi and sushi rolls are priced... reasonably, large portions, and are delicious! I have been to several actual sushi restaurants in DC, yet this place is easilyjust as good if not better because the rolls are unique and big with good quality/quantity of fish. So so so happy I found thisplace, do not miss out. Read more
