Okay so if you want a place with a vibe this is it. I instantly felt like I was out for dinner in Mexico on vacation. I love the... decor from the plates they use to the glasses they use. The food has so much flavor and our waitress was amazing. She was soprofessional, very friendly and she knew the menue inside out. I really enjoyed our date night. I just wish for more options onthe entree part on the menu. Will be back for sure. Read more

I've been here twice. Once for happy hour and for dinner. I was more pleased with my happy hour experience than the dinner... experience. All in all, I'd say this restaurant is a little overrated. DINNER: The tacos and drinks were good, but the ambiancecould be modified. The first thing is, it was extremely dim in the restaurant. I understand trying to set the vibe, but it wasdark. The menu was hard to see and I don't like eating in the dark...I need to see my food. Also with the tacos, you can't mixand match, which was disappointing. Would I go here again? For happy hour yes, but not for dinner. Read more

I had brunch here with my family. The food, vibe, and views were awesome. I ordered the soup and salmon. The salmon had a nice... kick to it. The soup had some spice as well and I love me some spice! My cocktail of choice was the Ponche De Lola and two ofthese did me just fine! My Step Dad ordered the impossible burger and he loved it. My mom ordered the codfish tacos and theywere delicious! For dessert my mom ordered the chocolate cake and we all split that. It was a melt in your mouth experience thatI could go for again and again. Our reservations were last minute and though it was packed, we were accommodated expeditiously.#Thankful Read more

Dined at Mi Vida after a nice touristy day in DC. We had a late reservation on a Sunday, so the server seemed kind of in a... rush, but he exhibited great knowledge of the menu and made good suggestions. My partner had the salmon and cleaned theplate...I had the enchiladas ranchers (after debating between that and the tacos). As you can see from the picture, theenchiladas wasn't what you would expect; the tortilla was fried and formed something like a round sandwich. The overall tastewas good - the sautéed kale was delightful and the cauliflower was crunchy; it also had a nice spice. I could've done withless tomato sauce and cream though. The frozen margaritas was strong and refreshing. I'm told that the lady's restroom was anexperience, reflecting a lot of thought was out into it. The men's was so-so. Overall, I would return...maybe to try the tacos Read more

We were planning to get some appetizers and landed in this restaurant accidentally. Happy hour is served only at the bar and it... was full. So we ended up at the booth. Great ambience but okay food. Had ceviche and fish tacos with a cocktail. Our server keptsaying you must try our “MOST DELICIOUS Guacamole”, don’t fall for it. It was freshly made but I make much betterguacamole. My husband loves guacamole so he always orders it but $14 for a small bowl, not worth it. Read more

Mi Vida is now my favorite place to dine. I honestly have been there 3 times in the past week. The staff is always amazing and... very patient with me lol. I can’t remember my first waitresses name but the last two times I had Wendy And Louise with hisfine self. It sits right on the water. So there’s an amazing view. I will forever be a customer at this place. Read more

Mi Vida was exceptional. The service was great as well as the food. This is the first place I have ever seen a hand blow dryer... actually in the sink of the wash room. Outside on the wharf was beautiful. Don't be shocked at the bill, you kind of expect itto be a bit high in such a beautiful environment and for what you get. Read more

The staff (especially the hostess) were extremely nice and accommodating. We originally sat outside but realized it was getting... too cold for us. So she found us a spot we could move inside which was an excellent, warm spot. The food was very good as wellas the margaritas. Recommend checking it out. Read more
