Great little find that we found from a Washingtonian article. I do suggest making a reservation as the dining area is limited. ... They do charge a deposit per person ($10 for brunch) that they said is refunded back to the card once we're seated (haven'tchecked with my bank to confirm). We were lucky to be seated at the table near the open kitchen. Which we found out istypically used for those getting the Chefs Tasting menu in the evenings as it gives a great view into the kitchen, and it's notcrowded with other tables. Our server (which I unfortunately missed her name) was very upbeat and pleasant. We started with aLatte, it was quite creamy and perfectly made. I don't typically drink coffee, but when I do I like it prepared more like a cupof melted coffee ice cream. So when she only brought one small sugar cube I thought I'd need more sugar, but surprisingly thelatte was quite pleasant as is. Here's what we ordered: 1. Baked Eggs - this was quite tasty. Something different that is nottypically on a breakfast/brunch menu. Our server said it wasn't too spicy but I thought it did have quite a kick. I liked itbut grateful I didn't order it as my entree as I wouldn't be able to finish it due to the heat (spice). It's topped with flashfried spinach leaves and a baguette slice. 2. French Omelette - their omelette was very light and airy. I ordered mine withthe smoked salmon, otherwise it only has boursin cheese with it. I have to admit I didn't taste too much of the salmon, but itwas a well prepared omelette. It is served with salad greens so I ordered a side of toast to compliment my omelette. 3. PainPerdu - this is similar to what we know as French toast. They use two slices of their house baked bread and top it with shavedapple. We used this as our dessert and although we were full, we couldn't stop eating it! 4. Caramelized Grapefruit - Ididn't get to try this one but thought it was interesting how it was served. It is a grapefruit c Read more

Came for Saturday brunch and had a great time! Lutèce has a lovely cafe vibe that's a perfect way to start the day. Our table... was right next to the window which made it even more enjoyable. They have cocktails and coffee or tea available for drinks, aswell as fresh squeezed juice option like orange and grapefruit. For coffee there aren't flavor syrups available. I ended upordered the pain perdu which is a French toast that came with shredded apples and amazing whipped cream on top. The French toastwas perfectly sweet and crunchy on the outside while still soft on the inside. My friend got the Comte strata which was acombination of bread pudding and quiche with a delicious sauce on the bottom and a fried egg on top. It was equally deliciousfor a good savory option. Our waiter was really friendly and helped us decide what to order. Through him we got a betterunderstanding of the two dishes we got. Overall it was a great experience and delicious food! The location makes it easy tostroll around Georgetown after your meal and enjoy the rest of the day. Read more

The PERFECT date night or special occasion dining experience. Go for the Chef's Table prefix, $75 for four courses and you'll... get an unbeatable view seated in front of the open kitchen. Each course is so delicately crafted and every bite is anout-of-body experience. The chef personally serves you, explaining each ingredient and will take painstaking detail toaccommodate any dietary needs. Add on the wine pairing for $50 to have a sommelier tell you more about a glass of wine than youcould ever hope to understand. Lutece is cozy, the food is phenomenal, and the date night vibes are simply out of this world. Read more

Had a beautiful dinner to celebrate a special occasion. Restaurant was packed, and I had to make a reservation ahead of time and... place a deposit. While it was a tight fit and it was noisy due to crowding, the food was delicious. Our server was great andattentive, and she gave great recommendations. We had a cute table by the window that had a very Parisian feel. People watchingwhile the sun went down was a treat. We started with the bread service- the bread and butter were great and the butter had acute stamp. Next, we had the summer squash which was divine. The sauce was heavenly, we enjoyed it so much so that a serverbrought us a spoon after watching us devour the plate. Third we had the parisian gnocci which was also to die for. Seasoned toperfection, the gnocci was sophisticated yet had a warm homey feel. I loved the corn mixed in. Finally we had the duck. It wasduck two ways, sliced and in a carnitas-like form. Both were delicious, chef recommended medium well- I think maybe medium mightbe best if you don?t like for it to taste gamey. All in all, great experience and I?d definitely recommend sharing severalplates. Read more

A delicious culinary offer with the classic but also with innovative dishes. We enjoyed our meal very much. Plus the service and... attention from Theo was outstanding. The only reason I?m giving it a 4 star is because of the hostess who wasn?t welcoming atall. Read more

Went for a weekend brunch and it was such an incredible experience. Everything we had was delicious to the point we were... laughing at how good it was. The staff was friendly and our server David was attentive and knowledgeable. We are excited to goback for dinner. (Also, the 22% service charge was listed on the menu so those complaining just weren?t paying attention. Ifyou don?t want restaurant employees to be paid well just cook at home instead of sounding like a cheap a-hole in your review) Read more
