I had a coffee, Omelette with Avocado and Tomato, and a Mixed Berry Tart for my breakfast at Le Pain. The food was very good,... especially the dessert was absolutely fantastic. The service was quick and nice also. In total, my breakfast was $33 which isnot cheap. Read more

The general manager took our order and disappeared. Waited quite a bit and a waiter brought half our order, we waited patiently... for our other half ( thinking , okay, let?s relax, in an authentic French style ? :)), but it never arrived after quite a wait ,so we paid and left, letting the cashier know of the incident. The cashier said He was going to discount 15%, but He actuallydidn?t. In terms of food not a big deal, the chicken soup was mildly warm to a borderline cold as if they forgot to bring it ontime, maybe forgotten for a while in the kitchen, ? the flute hazelnut must have been the hardest piece of bread I?ve evereaten, I thought I was going to loose some teeth. The waiter was the only good thing in the whole experience, I know she isprobably one of the only two people working hard in this location , she is the reason I gave two stars and not one , She is astar in a place with bad management, and potentially poor leadership. Get ready to enjoy a European trip, cuisine wise at least, in downtown DC. I really enjoyed having breakfast here. My favorite... spot was the comfortable chairs by the large windows. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I also liked their alternativemilk options for their drinks. Check it out and let me know what you think ?????????????????? Read more

Great place, and great atmosphere. Loved the food, it's the closest I've gotten to actual Belgian food (at least when it comes... to the waffles and hot chocolate? ). The staff were very friendly. It was a great experience. Read more

A great place for brunch on a dreary day. Very clean and bright and cheerful. Sabrina helped me choose the Quiche Lorraine and... house salad, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Located near the Farragut West Metro and Renwick. Read more

Nice cafe located right near the subway stations, we got the mint lemonade and an iced latte, along with three mini cakes... (apricot, carrot and chocolate banana). The atmosphere was really comfortable, especially after walking around in the heat. Thelatte was also good?the mint lemonade was nice, too (a little bit on the sour side) but still worth it. This is a franchise Ithink, so I don?t know how it compares to the others, but it was extremely clean, very spacious and the staff was very friendly. Read more
