Beautiful dining establishment. I came for brunch to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We dined inside not from from the bar. You... can still Get a get view of outside, but inside is absolutely gorgeous. Got to check out a pod, That too was amazing, cozy andwarm. The food was so/so I ordered a steak (medium well) and had to send it back Only for it to return over cooked again, maybethat’s just not one of their greater skills. But the potato hash was beyond compare almost can say the best I’ve everhad Drinks were nice and our host/server was really nice and personable. I would definitely try it again during a differentservice. Read more

This is a fancy, really beautiful restaurant located at the district wharf. It has a really beautiful ambience, picture perfect,... great food presentation, great customer service. We tried a lot of options, the lamp chops and mashed potatoes are highlyrecommended. Every food and drink we got was really good! The ladies has toilets painted in different popping colours, cute! The tax is included in your total bill, take note. If looking for a place for a fancy couple's date or important celebration, the La Vie is a good choice. Read more

The food was great. We had a window seat overlooking the harbor. That's was a little consolation since it was so rainy. Still... the rains couldn't stop the buzz of activity and foodie love going on inside. Our server was always near and the managementstaff ensured we were having a great time. Best parking is under the building -access as you drive pass the resaurant andbetween the two buildings after you pass the fountains before you turn left as if you were going to the traffic light. Fromthere you can access the main street level by elevator or the stairs near the fountains. I was expecting to have lunch but uponarrival 1:45pm brunch was still on going. We had the samplers- where you are able to choose 3 items as samples from the menueper service foe 2 hours. You can have as much as you like within those two hours for $60pp. We never felt rushed. We atelaughed and was pleasantly stuffed by the end of our meal. We enjoyed everything. ???? If you've never been there be mindfulof the DC tax and additional surcharge (outside of the tip charge) that's added at end of service. Read more

Nice views, cool vibe, good drinks and decent sides. But you'll pay for it. The sangria was great and so were the brussel... sprouts; charred and doused with a sweet and slightly sour honey based sauce sprinkled with pomegranate kernels. That dish islikely THE must have at La Vie. Unfortunately when we went it was over crowded and stuffy, seems like their AC was on the fritz Read more

I know there’s mixed reviews about this place but I had a great experience. Our waiter took very good care of us and overall... enhanced the dining experience. - The food was a 10/10 - The atmosphere and ambiance was amazing. - The view of the water gaveit a very elegant vibe towards fine dining. Would definitely recommend for a date night or special occasion Read more

Cute and Instagramable! Make sure you dress up! I enjoyed the food and drinks at La Vie but the customer service left more to be... desired. The staff at the front when overwhelmed are not friendly or welcoming and they seem to need more attendants to servethe volume of guests that arrive around dinner. I would go back though, the food is good and the drinks are strong. Read more

Every single dish we ate was absolutely delicious. I would trust the executive chef at La Vie with any meal. There is something... completely unique, yet so familiar with the variety of ingredients in each dish that transports you back to reminisce the firsttime you experienced it, wrapping you in a maternal blanket of bygone home cooked holiday meals. It has the luxury of comfortfood with an eclectic mix transported from Mediterranean, Latin America, French, and Italian flair. Blends of sweet and spicecame together in each rich bite. Vegetables and meats were perfectly prepared and plated. Fast on the day you go...you willenjoy every bite and leave happy. Read more
