Had an amazing engagement dinner at Karma. We booked a private room since we were a group of 20+ people. Our menu was... pre-selected and I really think everything we had was delicious. Some of the best Indian fusion food I've had! For appetizerswe got tandoori cauliflower, paneer pesto, lamb kabobs, chicken tikka, and amritsari snappers. All amazing, but the chickentikka really stood out. For entrees we had the lobster masala, chicken chettinad, lamb rogan Josh, zucchini kofta, and heirloompaneer. Lobster masala was the highlight of my meal. So delicious and flavorful, and the presentation was gorgeous! For sides wegot pindi chickpeas, grilled okra, garlic and plain naan, and latcha paratha. For dessert we had pistachio kulfi, coconutmedallions, and carrot halwa. Amazing food aside, our service was great and everyone was so helpful. With a large party we hadsomeone attending to us at all times and made sure everything was coming on time. Juan was an excellent bartender and the gentleman working the front door, who I assume was the manager, was also very helpful in... making sure I enjoyed my meal. I live in New Mexico, where good Indian food is difficult to find, so I thought I would enjoysomething during my vacation that I couldn't at home. Conveniently located near my hotel, this was a great choice. The food wasdelicious and bursting with flavor, and the wine list and service were impressive. Amazing food! Amazing ambiance / great time with friends. I am only removing 1 star because the service was extremely slow,... foods took over 30 minutes to arrive at the table and that was the only downside. When the food was On our table - we enjoyedevery single dish & cocktail. Would definitely go back here again despite slow service (which I’m sure is a temporaryglitch) Would recommend this restaurant while in DC! Read more
The food was really good with a lot of vegetarian options! The dishes were very flavorful and a favorite would be the pistachio... kulfi. Yet, I would not recommend the turnip dish as it was lacking in flavor. I would recommend the drinks though as they wereunique and yum! Read more

Awesome classy ambiance, breads and drinks. Paneer entree was average but the creative parantha was a killer, good experience... overall deserving an overall 4. Food: 3/5 The best parantha I’ve had - fluffy deconstructed take on lachcha parantha. Dragonscoast was really good - well blended drink with fruity spicy and lemony notes. The wok tossed paneer was not impressive -definitely not per indian kadhai paneer standards. Ambiance: 5/5 Really fancy and upscale ambiance! Very pristine andhygienic.
