The food here is extraordinary! I ordered the jerk salmon cheesesteak and 3 crab tacos. Each item was fresh and delicately... prepared to be visually stunning (see my pictures?doesn?t that look amazing). The jerk salmon cheesesteak was phenomenal! Thejerk sauce added some heat and the salmon was juicy and perfectly cooked. The crab tacos were perfectly seasoned and had amazingflavor. Do not sleep on FishScale! Fantastic food and great experience. We were given a walkthrough of the menu and suggestions for combinations to try. You can't... go wrong with any combination, both of our meals were delicious! Hands down the best food we have had in DC. I had the mahi mahi tacos and my date had the crab cake burger. We are visiting from... california and almost went down to the wharf for dinner but based on the great reviews we decided to come here instead. Boy arewe glad we did. Not only was the food amazing but the entire staff were friendly and helpful and passionate about theirbusiness. If we lived here we would be regulars. Thanks for the great meal! Read more
I had the Chesapeake cheesesteak, with Maryland blue catfish cooked to perfection with sauteed onions and peppers, and melted... provolone on an absolutely perfectly grilled roll, topped with a spicy cream sauce. It was to die for. Everything is made freshto order, but it is well worth the wait. Excellent and friendly service. Fun and interesting drink choices. Okay i?ve been getting the jerk salmon cheesesteak from here about once per week for the past two months. I could not recommend... this place more. The food is 10000/10 and the service and care from the owner and chef is absolutely incredible. Theyconsistently provide some of the best comfort food i could ask for. My only issue with this most incredible establishment isthat they don?t have more locations all over the city. If you need a good lunch or dinner this week, get fishscale. It hasbecome my go-to spot for dinner when i can?t figure out what else I want to eat. Read more

I was recommended to eat here by a friend. The same day I decided to give it a try since I love fish. I was greeted the moment I... walked in the establishment and that already made me feel a sense of welcomeness. I ordered the Salmon Cheesesteak and I have tosay it was absolutely AMAZING! The very next day I had to return and I ordered the Blue Catfish Tacos which were also 5/5 stars!It is a Black-Owned Restaurant owned by a beautiful family and l without a doubt will be a regular here while also recommendingothers to eat here!
