I would agree that the menu is limited but the food, service and speed were good. Caprese sandwich and brownie sundae.
I honestly came here to evaluate the last few months of really poor reviews - the verdict: it?s not so bad. I had the special of... the day (Spicy Asiago linguini) which was quite good. The Basil Old Fashioned was wonderful! The caprese flatbread was evenpretty good. That said, the service was as slow as other reviews indicate. I put my card in the check the minute we received it,and it was picked up about thirty minutes later. Don?t eat there in a rush! Read more
Over two nights I ordered one thing (a salad), and received something *nowhere near* what I ordered. They sent a caesar salad... both times, which I neither wanted or bothered to eat; dry chicken, the baaaarest of parmesan sprinkle, and then the giant bowlof lettuce was walked by the dressing. Kissed by, never dressed by. Nothing was offered to fix it. Will that problem get fixed?No. Can not recommend this place enough. Read more
I have no clue if the food is good or not. No one ever made contact with us after we sat down. We waited awhile and left.... Disappointing because we paid a lot of money to stay at this hotel. Read more
The "heirloom" tomato Flatbread was disappointing. Cherry tomatoes. Overloaded with mozzarella cheese. The cheesecake was... tasteless. Poor service. I was given cocktail napkins with my meal. I had to ask for cutlery. Read more
Outstanding menu options. My entire family enjoyed it. We received exceptional customer service. They mixed fruit juice drinks... for my kids. During one meal, my daughter ordered fresh fruit. Our server told her he knew something that would really make ittaste good and brought her back a cup of whipped cream. She was more than happy. The salads were awesome. Evening happy hourspecials were great. Great synergy among the staff. The host was always nice and checked on us in addition to the server. Youcan view the kitchen and chefs cooking which was cool. We?re staying at the Marriott. The kids wanted to try other food howeverthe last two days chose Fire and Sage for each meal. Read more
Very inept waiter and rude manager. Ordered a "carafe" of prosecco and received the glass below. Was told that was "this... restaurant's carafe for the prosecco". I asked what they consider a carafe for the wine and the manager said they bring out aclass and a short carafe. I asked for them to bring out the same for my prosecco then and he no, It's not the same. I pointedout on the menu that both wine and prosecco are listed under carafe and should be the same. This restaurant is located inside the Marriott at Metro Center. I had breakfast here one morning and was pleasantly surprised.... The service was great and food came out really fast and hot. I had a breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese on sourdoughbread. It was huge and reminded me of the sandwiches that my Mom makes. It came with breakfast potatoes, which were also good.The price was fair and reasonable. I wouldn?t hesitate to return if I?m ever staying in the hotel again. Read more
