I was told this place has the best burger it town... i dont know about their "proper burger", but the brisket sandwich is from... another world! On top of their great food, their drinks are great too and the whole place has a cool character. Cameron did agreat job taking care of us. Read more
OMG. I loved my burger. I’ve got he proper burger and it was probably one of the best burgers that I have ever had. It had... pickled onions and pickles and Gouda cheese on it. Just delicious. Duke's Grocery hits every time. Proper/brunchie burger is absolutely one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life. The... patties of the burger, I feel, are usually bigger than this most recent time? But it was still a hit, and like all good thingsit ended too soon. Absolutely excellent place for dinner in DC! Loved the atmosphere, as someone with East London roots, this place was like a... home away from home.
