I always make it a point to come here on my D.C. visits and it never disappoints. This location is definitely more suited for... carry-out; there is very limited dine-in space. If you're lucky enough to find a seat, expect to sit uncomfortably close tostrangers. All in all, very worth it. Read more
Unfortunately the cleanliness was appalling for a place serving food. Sadly I didn?t notice how bad it was until I had already... paid and had my food. The front area where you order and pay looked fine but things got worse after that. When we went to thepick up area to get the food I noticed a bad smell- like moldy mildew smell. From there we went upstairs to eat and the onlytable available was dirty. Clearly it had not been wiped down in a while and the bench where we had to sit had bags and napkinsSTUCK to it. I tried to move them and saw they were stuck on. Then we went to the bathroom and this is the scariest part. Neither of the two bathrooms had any soap! NO SOAP! I was horrified to realize that the people making the food had no way towash their hands after using the bathroom. And one of the employees had just finished using the bathroom before I went in. Iwas so disgusted to realize that my (and my family?s food) had likely been prepared by dirty hands! I see another review fromthree months ago also has an issue with the cleanliness of the bathrooms so this is evidently not an isolated incident. So sad. The chips and queso, with pico added, was perfect for an evening craving in the hotel. The salsa was pretty good, but not as... good as the queso. They have kiosks inside to order quickly and pay. Dedicated area to pick up orders. Read more
Food was okay. Not a lot of space to eat in-door. Layout is different, with up-stairs level. Services was okay. 2 unisex... restrooms. Cleanliness needs improvement. I like the setup so I can see the food being made. Not bad, not great, just average.Overall, I would come here again. Read more
Always a favorite for lunch or even dinner when I am in DC. It?s reasonably priced for DC and the tacos are so delicious. They... replaced the soft drink machine in the photo that was unique to them with coke products modern machine and I am happy aboutthat. I always get water but now my options improved. Highly recommended that you try them. Read more
Full transparency, I am a huge district taco fan. I used to live near Washington, DC and miss District Taco dearly. Popped in... during a business trip to the Capitol and it was fantastic. Food is awesome. Still tastes exactly the same as I remember it.(I do miss the al pastor) If you are reading this review, do yourself a favor. Get some delicious tacos from this place.
