The food is warm not hot hot. but I can't believe they charged for tea. As dim sum lover, we want our food temperature hot... hot. The ha gao- falling apart before I touch it. The custard bun is pure liquid when I bite in to it. It is gross. The roastduck is overcooked, make the meat very dry. However, the service was very fast and staffs speak English. Read more

Alright Chinese food, but some of the dishes were kind of bland. Compared to Chicago, NYC and Boston, this one could only be... rated as a 7/10. Service was great and price was fair. Total for the food in photos were $86. Read more

Horrible dim sum! Don?t come here for dim sum after those glory reviews. I ordered radish cake and they look reheated and... tastes like fridge leftover. The other ones I ordered look like frozen dim sum that were bought in bulks and they just reheatthem. I was expecting freshly made dim sums and how wrong was I! The owner gave me a refund of the radish cake because sheknew it wasn?t fresh at all. They put newer roast ducks over old refrigerated ducks (as you can see in the picture), the ownertries to get rid of old refrigerated food if the customers cannot tell or did not complain. There is no business ethic rightthere. If you want real dim sum, you will need to go to big cities like LA, New York or SF?etc that actually have freshly madedim sum. Read more

Having never before had Dim Sum, I was very lucky for my first experience to be as wonderful as the food provided to us by Da... Hong Pao Restaurant. We ordered five items from the menu, all of which were free from any kind of disappointment. The priceswere reasonable and the service was friendly enough. The restaurant was a little busy when we arrived but that didn't delay ourmeal at all, and we as a couple only had to wait a few minutes before being seated. I would recommend this restaurant for DimSum. Read more

Excellent as always. They have a full dim sum more menu from 11 to 5. And then half dim sum from 5 on. Great regular menu with... lots of authentic dishes: sea cucumber, taro, tripe, etc. I had hot and sour soup, crispy duck, ribs, tofu wrapped in taro, pepper beef sizzle, and bbq short ribs. Very good duck, BTW. Been going here since 2016. Great staff and service, family run.Don?t hesitate to go when in DC!! Read more

I went yesterday with my bf and had a bad experience with the food. The staff is friendly but the food was not good and the... price is a little bit expensive. I had never been here before but my friend recommended so I decided to give it a try. The foodwas not warm at all, just look like I ate old food. I ordered the roast duck and pork because I heard it is good but oh hellNah, not warm and not crispy at all. Dimsum is okay. My boyfriend asked for a rice bow but the staff went for more than 30minutes then he came back when we were almost finished with food. I feel bad when I took someone to eat at a place with a badservice like this and asked for a higher tip when I paid my bill. Read more

The fried rice and general tso?s chicken is so good: flavorful, great texture. Good for sharing! My go-to for comfort food after... a night out in town. The service is speedy. The dim sum is also delicious. Read more

Mmmmm, my first time at dim sum restaurant and it was delightful. They had a temperature check when you walk in and then we were... seated immediately. They gave us the menus and a pen to mark our selections. We ordered in two batches. Food came out so quick.Highly recommend asking for a side of chili oil. Everything tasted so good. The food was hot and the flavors were strong. Thereis a bathroom at the back for customers. Read more
