Stumbled upon Chopsmith not too long ago. I really love the salads & especially the "build your own" salad" option, so I can not... recommend a specific type of salad at the moment. Granted, the salads are rather pricey (mainly because I add premium toppings),but I can assure you it's worth it so far! It was so much that I had to take the rest home with me. I like the salad dressingselections. I will try to explore the sandwiches & soup options soon. It's a great & healthy option for the lunch rush inDC. The reasons why I cannot give it 5 stars: I will say they can do a better job cleaning the tables off between customers.Nothing is more annoying coming to dine in & most tables have previous customers' crumbs & germs on it. I'd prefer not to cleanup after people in a restaurant. I also think the premium toppings are overpriced & many of the premium toppings aren't"premium." Example: How is something as cheap as cilantro considered a "premium" topping? Read more

Good not great, and definitely overpriced. The wharf louis salad was tasty, but the crab didn?t taste good and the avocado was... brown and gross (I asked for a new avocado slice and they switched it out). The steak chimichurri was also tasty but it wasn?thot. Doesn?t seem as fresh as expected?and for $20 a plate, I expect basic freshness. The place does have a cool vibe though, and it?s in an amazing location. Love the wharf, but won?t be back here. So many other great restaurants. Read more

This place has AMAZING food and a great selection. This was an awesome breakfast date for my hubs and me, with him preferring... meat -heavy options and being kinda picky and me loving all the veggies. This place has something for everyone! Read more

Super tasty sandwiches, salads, and bowls! Lots of healthy options and everything was fresh. Not too pricy for DC, about $12-$18... per dish. Will be returning the next time we're in town! Read more

Nice little place with fresh sandwiches & salads. Unusual on the menu is Banh Me - a staple from Vietnamese street food. Also... unusual is a selection of wines - they have Rioja, wine from Spain. Price wise it's one of the cheapest places in the Wharf(YMMV). Read more

Good but not great $22 grilled salmon plate. Was unclear from the temperature of the salmon, potatoes and broccoli whether it... was intended to be a hot meal or a salad. Everything was just warm. Tasty otherwise. But odd. Pleasant staff. Seating areasortof scruffy. Read more

Excellent staff, location and prices. The chimichurri steak was tasty and made to order and the garlic parmesan potatoes were... the best we've Ever had. The burger was also delicious, juicy and full of flavor. We didn't care much for the Buffalo chickenwrap, as the chicken had a slight charred flavor and a Ton of lettuce (overpowering.) It was mildly spicy though, which wasnice. Read more

A restaurant in the Wharf offering health food options. I had shrimp and salad with mango. The mango was a new experience. Food... options were affordable. The Wharf gets busy especially during weekends and peak days, so do consider getting there by publictransport or ride share to avoid parking headache. Read more
