I stopped by Ammathar for lunch in November 2022. I'd eaten here previously and had enjoyed it and I was nearby and hungry so... figured I'd swing by. I'm glad I did. I have been Thailand before and I was looking for an automatic Thai restaurant and I think I found one. Food was delicious. They... even have Kanom Krok! They are using right veggies and seasonings. Food is five ? but service was very slow and my husband didnot receive his order till I finished mine. They brought wrong entre twice for him. The place was packed and they are understaffed. This was one of the first places we dined when we moved to DC. To celebrate our anniversary this is where we came. We had a... wonderful host and the food has always been delicious. We frequent displays and highly recommend it. One of the best places forThai food, even though ownership has changed. The staff was very helpful and nice, and the food came out in under 15 minutes. That was really the highlight of this... restaurant, not that the food was bad. The food itself was solid.
